The decision to sit on a fully finished movie definitely played a part in this.

2) It’s been almost 6 years since Avatar Studios was created and we’ve gotten almost no updates outside of leaks.
3) Fans seem to care far more about the IP than Paramount. So much so that they haven’t responded to the FULL movie leaking in any way yet.

Some other thoughts about the Avatar leak situation:
1) I was never going to get Paramount+ to watch it. I would’ve gone to see it in theaters if they hadn’t abandoned that distribution plan.

The Avatar movie was fine. Kinda felt like it should’ve been accompanied by like a 5 episode mini-series or something tho to get us into the stakes and conflicts of the post-war era tho.
Tho, I suppose the comic do serve that purpose adequately, if you read them.

The fact that Nick/Paramount had a gorgeous looking and good movie on their hands fully finished and never once promoted it is insane to me. I’ve never seen another franchise do this. Usually they allow glimpses to built hype years out

From the two scenes that leaked, I don’t really like the art style for a full length movie.
And the dialogue feels too self-referential and “Marvel-y” for lack of better words.
Also, no hate but Aang’s VA sounds off to me.

It’s similar to someone yelling “WHAT ARE YOU DOING? or “WHY ARE YOU HERE?” Or it’s like when people start making noise to scare away bears.

@SethC1995 "I think" is not a phrase you are not allowed to use as a translator. Nobody gives a fuck what you think. It has honorifics? Then keep it. There are japanese fantasy that explictly drops honorifics themselves.
If Author didn't want honorifics they wouldn't have them.

As a translator, the only time I think honorifics should be preserved is when the setting actually takes place within Japan. Re:Zero is a non-Japanese fantasy world, so I'd be more inclined to drop honorifics in lieu of things like "Mister" or "Lady" to better fit the setting.

We need to have a conversation about the cultural erasure of honorfics We always saw "San", "chan", "sama", "kun" in anime, but now we dont. They are now replaced with Mister or Lady. Like wtf

I do like the concept of Pokémon Champions. Recruiting Pokemon and trying out new things.
But what the FUCK is the lighting in this game. Also—why are the majority of the competitive held items not in the game yet? You can’t really make a team with the limited item options rn.
