“House of the Dragon” creator Ryan Condal says it was “horrible” to see a toxic subset of the fandom pit the show’s younger breakout stars against their adult counterparts. “It’s an unfortunate by-product of the internet rage machine — we have so turned against ourselves in fandom,” he says. “This kind of fandom used to be the happy place to go, where people who liked different things within the same world could just find common ground. “And I thought it was horrible! And it’s horrible for all these young performers that did a great thing, and kind of did an impossible thing. Everybody should have just been celebrating the success and reception of that show. Two outright Nazis (literally wearing Black Sun patches!) shot up the Islamic Center of San Diego, but I haven't seen any mainstream news outlets describe them upfront & clearly as Nazis in their headlines.

Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Velasquez, 18, live-streamed their attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego yesterday. New photos were obtained via the California Post. Additionally, a small clip of the livestream circulated which showed Cain Clark fatally shooting himself. (Which is from the 3rd screenshot) Both attackers shot and killed 3 people before killing themselves.
