@Gerhardderechte It was expected. At the start, armory looked like a good ROI option. So more and more people started opening it, investing in passes and so on. This drove the skin prices down, eventually reducing the profitability into negative territory. More supply = lower price and profits.

@tygersparky @DyingLightGame Xbox one was released in 2013. We're in 2026. Why do we want new games for a 13 year old console? If it released for PS4/XONE, you'd complain because it's at 30 fps, it's loading slowly and looks worse than a PS5 release.

This exact announcement is the reason that I no longer support Techland and have never played the Dying Light games. They put out the same press release about their Hellraid game no longer releasing on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2014 after putting out a ton of media about it (a game which never released as a stand-alone game). That media got me incredibly excited about the game only to feel a sense of betrayal by this company because of their choice. Incompetence and poor planning on the developers part doesn't instill confidence in the products that they make and doesn't make me want to give them money. There's also a bait-and-switch aspect that I feel is a strong possibility in these types of approaches by getting someone excited about a game just to pull it away from them rather than simply announcing it for current hardware when they originally reveal the product. I wasn't fooled at all by these moves, but to those that are...

Dying Light: The Beast was built from the ground up to take full advantage of current-generation hardware. Its open world, advanced visuals, and fluid combat and traversal all depend on processing power and memory that previous-generation consoles simply cannot provide. As development progressed, it became clear that bringing the game to those platforms would require compromises that would prevent us from delivering the experience we set out to create. This was not a matter of choosing to leave those platforms behind. Rather, it reflected the technical realities of development and our commitment to delivering the best possible experience. We know many of you were looking forward to playing on PS4 or Xbox One, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment this causes. Anyone who was expecting to play on either platform will be eligible for a refund. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

@cybershoke It would be good twofold. 1. Giga obvious cheaters would be banned 2. Rest would be scared to cheat because now there's accountability. Their account will get banned. CS GO was cheat infested but it wasn't nearly as bad as cs2

Fact: CS2 Overwatch would remove 50% of cheaters in CS2 due to cheaters being so bad therefore obvious ❗️
