“Witness D” -Marius van der Merwe murder accused, Mathipandile “Andy”Sotheni, will no longer be represented by Attorney Eric Bryer. Bryer has withdrawn from representing him. When Sotheni was in court recently, he told the magistrate he does not know Bryer and had not instructed him. The former police Task Force member is scheduled to be back in court in May for a bail application. @pule_jones

Even if the accused speaks some English, the police or investigators must use a language the accused fully understands when taking a confession.

Gwabini may deny hosting a party, but he signed a statement that’s now an exhibit. Makhosonke denies being there, yet he also signed a statement. Ntanzi made a confession before a magistrate, and the law: Specifically section 217(1)(a) is clear that its mere production is admissible in court. You can dispute it all you like, but the law is clear.

@Chegoane @SocietyNews Gwabini deny ever hosting a party in 2014. Gwabini said in court that Ntanzi doesnt know where he stays. Makhosonke said he met cnst zungu in 2017 and not 2014. Remember Ntanzi's confession is disputed. Most if not all evidence keeps supporting testimony of Ntanzi.

No social media content will safe you from confirmation bias, only evidence will.

@SocietyNews @tumzadr Longwe contradicts himself alot. He couldnt call because he left the phone inside the house and later says the phone was in the pocket. He couldnt ask for help because it was late and people were sleeping. He waited for lunch but senzo was shot around 8pm.

@ZeeButh If state was not cooking then Ntanzi's 2014 colleagues were going to be the best witness to attest the O-shaped beard. They were with Ntanzi on 25 Oct and 3 Nov 2014. State failed to call them because they were not right spices.

I'm starting to think while the state was cooking they might have shown Zandie and Tumelo pictures of Ntanzi in 2020 and that's why they both emphasised on O shaped beard, forgetting that in 2014 Ntanzi didn't appear the same as in 2020. #SenzoMeyiwaTrial
