Each and every country must control and manage her population numbers in order to either maintain or improve her GDP per capita.

Lagos State Fire Service is a criminal organisation. Their director general needs to be arrested and sent to jail for corruption and abating criminality. When the fire started at the Great Nigeria House, people were trying to quench the fire which hadn’t escalated until fire service came. The service men came demanding 10 million before quenching the fire. By the time the people agreed to give them the money, the fire has gone out of control. Both the Director and all the service men on ground deserves a firing squad. What kind of nonsense is this?

You are missing the point, the truck was stationary on the highway but where are the safety signs/barriers? How about the emergency services after the crash? the people that are trained on how to retrieve victims of an accident, the anyhowness as regards safety is the problem

This should be where we draw the line, sir. Nothing about AJ’s accident suggests it was uniquely Nigerian or that it could not have happened elsewhere—unless you know something the rest of us do not. It happened on a highway that meets the bare minimum even where you are; it could just as easily have occurred in your darling America or the UK. Not every tragedy must be conscripted into our favourite sport of national self-mockery. A little restraint, a little decency. At least for just this moment. Pray for the dead.
