@NeilRob40407397 @Emma_J_RealTalk Momentary brain gaseous expulsion on my part - you are correct. As my name indicates - I’m fiercely objective and admit when I’m wrong!

@objectivityrox @Emma_J_RealTalk FYI. BODMAS and PEDMAS will both give the same answer if applied properly. First you add the number in the brackets (3 + 3) giving 6. Leaving you with the calculation 18 divided by 3 times 6. You evaluate left to right to get 36. Simples.

@NeilRob40407397 @Emma_J_RealTalk FYI you wrote “PEDMAS” not “PEMDAS”. That makes a difference. The standard in the U.S. is “PEMDAS”, which puts multiplication first. The standard in the UK/Canada typically puts division first. You get different answers depending upon which (multiplication or division) you do 1st

@renabaddie_ 6091 - move bottom-left stick from 8 to make the 5 a “6”. Then move the bottom stick from what was the 8 to the right of the 8, which just became a 9. Place that stick vertically and you have 6091. Numbers are numbers regardless of relative size - the smaller #1 is still a 1.

@tutututuulip @Gosleepriya You can think whatever you want; at the same time, the math indicates that a=3 *IS* the correct answer. 3 cubed = 27 and 27 + 27 + 27 =81. Methinks you have a noggin’ that is not working properly.

@Simi_2210_ 341 - take the top stick from the 9 and place it vertically to the right of the 9 (now a 4) to get 341.
