It’s clear Labour’s direction of travel is removal of the NHS, exactly the same as the Conservatives. What the NHS needs from Labour is: 1) Adequate public funding 2) No privatisation (which is more expensive & worse for patients) 3) Adequate pay, and respect, for NHS workers.

@MathTeacher1123 Agree completely- taught science/chemistry for 25+ years - and I started my career in Inner London - hardly ever had problems with youngsters that I couldn't handle - was always the adults.

Communication. Children want to communicate and they want to be like adults. Have these people had no training in how early writing develops? Are children not allowed to attempt their names until the sounds have been taught . Poor Phoebe is going to have to wait a while…

I’ve just been told that some lead inspectors are advising that children shouldn’t attempt to write any words unless they’ve been taught all the sounds in the word and that there shouldn’t be any writing in continuous provision. Who is spreading this bunkum? Writing is
