I had some tough fights in day 1. Tough games from @obqlilpdo , Dspicable (couldn't find them, please tag them if able), @MagicMayson and @Reis2Occasion kept me on my toes. Thankfully, I was at least able to seem calm until all the hype came out after beating Reis!

So. I got third. Toronto was crazy. I stayed up until 4 AM the night before making a team after my old team got smacked in the GO Cup challenge tournament the day before, thinking I'd maybe match my top 16 from last year. Boy, was I wrong

Out at 2-2. Didn’t really expect more in terms of results but moreso in terms of my play and line reading. Not exactly disappointed but I think with better play I’m still in it or already booked for day two 🤷🏻‍♂️ Regardless, Japan has been a great trip. Time to train for next szn

So now that we're almost done Single Type Cup, can we all agree that this meta is/was objectively bad? Umbreon and Coffin on almost every team means that you're gonna get outbulked almost every game, and Charm is also everywhere, alongside Vig. Absolutely miserable imo
