I just can’t understand why people are so definitively out on JJ McCarthy 10 starts into his career when there were signs of progress in the final 4 games of 2025 combined with his work ethic
He hadn’t played football in 20 months outside of one preseason game and things were starting to click towards the end of the season
He’s also only 23 years old

@DualOrion @GenStilicho i think it’s a mixture of both, lame answer but yeah. napoleon and alexander are partly products of a time and partly they’re just that guy. plenty of people who were just that guy but the environment wasn’t right, and plenty of people in the right environment but not that guy

I don't understand the point of using the term "dozen". It means 12, so just say 12? It's even worse when people say or type "half a dozen". Just say 6 or six.
