Today, the body of our neighbor was found during displacement, buried and decomposed. He had been injured and kept bleeding for three days during the last evacuation from northern Gaza.
When he realized he would not survive and no one could reach him, he covered himself with soil and buried himself while in prostration. Now, his bones were found formed in the position of sujood (prostration).
His body was discovered beside a tree where he had chosen his final place. He left a sign for his family — his ring was tied above the soil with a thread and a small branch from the tree so they could find him.
He will be laid to rest properly after Friday prayer today.
Mercy to the martyrs, and patience for the thousands of families still waiting for news about their missing loved ones in Gaza.
Speak about them. Do not let their stories disappear.

A military officer, believed to have been driving against traffic while under the influence of alcohol, caused a fatal head-on collision on the Maju Expressway (MEX) this morning, killing a 22-year-old e-hailing passenger. The 31-year-old suspect exceeded the permitted alcohol limit in a breathalyser test conducted at the scene, according to Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa. “Preliminary investigations found that the car driven by the suspect is believed to have entered the opposite lane before colliding head-on with an e-hailing MPV,” Mohd Zamzuri said in a statement today. The MPV was carrying two Bangladeshi passengers, a man and a woman, who had just arrived from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The male passenger, who was seated in the middle row, was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head injuries.

Estoy en shock con el caso de la mujer que mató a la esposa de su hijo porque ella se lo “robó”.
Sucedió en México hace días. La víctima se llamaba Carolina Flores, quien vivía con su esposo, Alejandro Sánchez, y su pequeño bebé de 8 meses.
Al parecer, la suegra de la muchacha fue a visitarlos y decidió quedarse allí varios meses.
Según la mamá de la víctima, las mujeres tenían problemas “normales” entre nuera y suegra porque la señora era muy territorial y le reclamaba a la muchacha que no atendía bien a su hijo.
El 15 de abril, según se ve en un video, todos estaban en el apartamento y de pronto Erika, la madre de Alejandro, sigue a la muchacha hacia una habitación y le dispara una primera vez. Luego del único grito que se escucha de la víctima, la asesina le dispara hasta 7 veces más.
Alejandro, el esposo, quien estaba en otra habitación del mismo apartamento, al escuchar las detonaciones, sale con su hijo en brazos a investigar qué había ocurrido y se encuentra con la escena.
—¿Qué hiciste? ¡Loca! —le dice a su madre.
—Nada. Es que me hizo enojar —le responde la mujer mientras camina tranquilamente.
—¿Qué te pasa? Es mi familia —dice el muchacho.
—Ella no es tu familia. Tú eres mío y ella no —responde sin arrepentimiento la asesina.
No fue sino hasta el día siguiente que el viudo denunció lo ocurrido a las autoridades. Según le dijo a su suegra, madre de la muchacha asesinada, estaba haciendo videos para explicarle a quienes cuidarían a su bebé lo que debía comer y los horarios en qué debía hacerlo mientras él iba a dar declaraciones. Mientras eso sucedía, la muchacha yacía muerta en el piso de su casa.
Luego, el ahora viudo, fue a denunciar ante las autoridades y dijo que fue su madre quien le quitó la vida a su esposa, tal y como se ve en el video.
Según dicen, la homicida, llamada Erika María, ya fue detenida.
Todo el caso es escalofriante.
