The latest Ipsos NZ Issues Monitor survey shows that 21% of Kiwis now rate the price of housing as a top issue - the lowest figure since the survey began in 2018. In Australia the equivalent figure is 40%. Concern about crime has also fallen to its lowest level in over 5 years.

Australia is completely COOKED. The Australian Human Rights Commission has given pregnancy protections in law to MEN. If a Government cannot tell the difference between delusions/ fantasy & reality then that Government is a danger to everyone it is supposed to represent & it must be removed. Disappointing. ACT are backtracking on their promise of a $6 per day infrastructure surcharge for migrants who come in under the RSE Scheme - mostly seasonal fruitpickers from the Pacific Islands - because of claims it’s too expensive for them. They ARE a relatively low-earning cohort of immigrants, but the impact they place on our infrastructure is unrelated to their earnings…so their exclusion seems a bit arbitrary. The RSE scheme supplies maybe around 10% of New Zealand’s annual immigrants. The $6 per day surcharge would still apply to other migrant cohorts. rnz.co.nz/news/pacific/5…
