We were delighted to meet Justin Starr, Executive Chef of Joe Fortes, Whistler who grew up on the Kitimaat Village First Nations Reserve. We asked, How do you believe your Indigenous heritage has influenced your cooking style? JS: "Attending traditional feasts has made it clear that serving our foods, prepared our way and specifically for our people is incredibly important to maintaining culture and community.
