Talk tough on sovereignty in one breath, then jet off to push "variable geometry" multilateralism—fancy words for "let's gang up on the big players and pretend it's not globalism with a new coat of paint." Here's the truth, delivered without the polite Canadian filter: Sovereign nations aren't dissolving into some borderless utopia. People want secure borders, affordable energy, and governments that put their own citizens first—not endless virtue-signaling pacts that punish the productive while the elites toast each other at cocktail hours. The world isn't heading for your "new order." It's heading for pushback. Real pushback from folks who are sick of being told their trucks, their farms, their jobs, and their choices are the problem.
