This is such a common misconception for retail investors of lithium-ion recyclers. Tesla very well could be sending $ABAT material for processing. In fact, there was a photo with a shipping label that had Tesla’s address on it that was posted a few years back in some company media. It looks like they didn’t think anyone would zoom in on it. But in 2025 Tesla sent out over 5 GWh of material, so it is plausible that ABAT and Redwood, who is also just down the street, got the bulk of that. But that doesn’t mean they have a partnership in the sense that people think. They are doing business with Tesla; the “partnership” language is just marketing jargon. If they are receiving materials from Tesla, Tesla pays ABAT to process the material, then ABAT sends back what they want, with the rest, like the low value material, ABAT will sell into the market. But this is a standard client vendor setup and is not required to be disclosed. Also, it isn’t disclosed because of the client’s desire to keep a lid on operational details rather than the recyclers. In fact, Tesla just had a conversation with the state of Nevada about keeping recycling amounts and capacity confidential, which the state agreed to. They will publish generic numbers for sustainability, but they will not break it down, just give the bulk numbers.

@GroguRichie @UnityNodesIO @Minutes_Network The reward per license is more or less the same although some people do report an uptrend. But as licenses grow my Unity Node is generating higher weekly returns. This message is meant for UNOs not ULOs.
