We recently released a ton of changes I had been working on for a long (too long of) time. 😅 Here's what changed: 1/n

@jobvandenhurk @SpotifyCares Yeah, you can make another request to same endpoint but pass the market query param. I think then you can check is_playable (or maybe it would just 404?) and that seemed to be accurate in these instances.

@SpotifyPlatform For a track I'm receiving "available_markets": [] but the track is indeed available/playable. I see many posts on forum about this, e.g. community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-for…, but no answers. Is this a bug? What's the best way to verify whether or not a track is available?

@brianwisti Hey mate! The acquisition means it's no longer a side project, and we have dedicated resources, so at least on my end it has decreased any anxiety. 😅 The API will continue to be supported, and if/when we make changes we'll be sure all devs have ample notice and a plan forward.

The solution in that Reddit thread, i.e. creating a linked database view, does seem to help, but it seems as though this is a bug in the main table view.

@NotionHQ some of the rows in my table are not showing up. I've ensured there is no filtering happening. Seems others are having this issue as well: reddit.com/r/Notion/comme…

Anyone else seeing lots of notices from Google Cloud about "account at risk of suspension" because of an invalid payment method on file (even though the payment method is fine)?

@EddiesTech It’s definitely possible, as we’ve heard that request a few times now. For now though, it’s not on the roadmap any time soon.

Following up on the large-scale refactor from a couple months ago with a couple more small improvements, and our pages now load a LOT better. Wouldn't have been able to do it without great technology. Thanks heaps to Next.js/@vercel and @fastly CDN!

@Cafune_Cafe So when we try to load this link now, we can’t fetch data from Google Play Music bc that service has been shut down and doesn’t exist any more. This shouldn’t happen with any future links, even if streaming platforms are deprecated, as we’re now handling that use case better.

@Cafune_Cafe Ah yeah, we dropped the ball on some of these. Those were Google Play Music entities as the input (notice the /g/ in the URL). Google Play no longer exists, and about 10 or 11 months ago we upgraded/improved our systems but we didn’t copy over all cached data for the providers.

@odesli_ question for ya: do odesli links expire? I like sharing them on Twitter but I'm noticing links from a few months ago 404 now.

@claryea58 Yes, sorry for not following up. The Fastly outage lasted about 1 hour.

@Spotify @SpotifyCares your thumbnails aren't loading. The i.scdn.io domain is not properly hooked up to your Fastly config. Fastly incident from this morning (status.fastly.com/incidents/vpk0…) has been resolved.
