I see the news media have gotten their talking point memo. This story in Georgia is virtually identical to one about an ICE facility near my Maryland town, including the capacity and water treatment overload. It's like a copy/paste item. 🙄 heraldmailmedia-md.newsmemory.com/?publink=0dca6…

Co-sign this. What else to describe a regime that tortures and publicly hangs teenagers for wanting democracy for their country?

The Husky@Mr_Husky1

The little dog was coated in bright blue paint, and it had hardened across his body so badly that he could hardly move. Jax nearly walked right past him behind the dumpsters until the tiny figure trembled weakly in the cold. Around town, most people recognized Jax as one of the senior members of a local motorcycle club. He was a large man covered in tattoos, the sort of person strangers usually kept their distance from before even hearing him speak. Late that night he was cutting through an alley behind a row of auto repair shops when a patch of bright blue caught his attention. At first he thought someone had tossed out a broken toy or a painted statue beside the trash bins. Then a faint wheezing sound made him stop in his tracks. What he saw made his stomach twist. A young dog stood there rigid, thin from hunger and trapped inside a hardened layer of industrial paint. The cold air had turned the paint into a solid shell, leaving the little animal unable to curl up, lie down, or move much at all. Without a second thought, Jax dropped to his knees in the muddy alley, ignoring his boots, his vest, and the mess around him. He slid his arms beneath the stiff body and gently lifted the dog against his chest. “Easy… easy. What happened to you?” he murmured. The dog answered with a faint, shaky sound that was more breath than bark. Jax pulled him closer, lowering his voice. “Stay with me, little guy. You’re freezing.” One of Jax’s club brothers hurried to bring their truck around while Jax rocked the dog carefully in his arms. He rubbed the dog’s stiff legs slowly, trying to warm them while sharing what heat he could. “We’re getting you out of here,” he whispered. “Right now.” No one waited for animal control. Jax carried the dog to the truck, climbed into the back seat with him, and held him the entire ride to the emergency veterinarian. At the clinic, the staff worked for four straight hours. They washed, shaved, and carefully cut away the hardened toxic paint that had sealed itself over the dog’s fur. By the time they finished, everyone in the room knew the truth: one more cold night in that alley would have been fatal. Jax paid the bill without hesitation and decided on a name before they even left the clinic. Cobalt. The dog was only about a year old, still young enough to trust the hands that had lifted him from that frozen blue prison. Today, the paint is long gone. The bones that once showed through his thin frame are hidden beneath healthy fur. And Cobalt now rides proudly beside Jax in a custom motorcycle sidecar. To most people, Jax still looks like a tough biker in leather. But to Cobalt, he’s simply the man who heard a weak cry in the dark — and chose not to walk away. By born legend

TPS, which was called "temporary," and was granted 16 years ago under Obama, was then extended under Obiden and scheduled to end Feb. 3 2026, but now a judge says Trump can't end it. 🤨 What does "temporary" mean? And if it was already scheduled to end,how is Trump ending it?
