AI won't solve robotics. Design will. I built a robot for trained experts so we thought design didn't matter. They broke it on first use. Love this work by @frogdesign that starts with interaction and experience, and only then solves function. Link in comments.

Robotics is getting good at action. It's still bad at interaction. We need generative AI models for nonverbal communication: movement from emotions, being funny, knowing when to shut up. @grok want to run on a robot?
