These words from Ali ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) are a masterclass that every Muslim needs to internalize, especially in our time where people are obsessed with the fleeting crumbs of this dunya. You see the wealthy man flaunting his riches, his heart echoing the arrogance of Qarun who said: "I was only given this because of knowledge I have." By الله, Rziq has never been about intellect, effort, cleverness, or strategy. Its a divine distribution from the All-Wise, the All-Knowing, given to whom He wills. I've seen brilliant, hardworking men squeezed in their rizq, and I've seen the lazy and the foolish showered with it. Those who make the pursuit of this world their only concern are the ones lacking in intellect. If your day is spent in a desperate, anxious pursuit of a rizq that cannot be forced, then you are the one who is cheated. You'll never receive a single grain more or less than what الله has written for you. This is Aqdah every Muslim must hold: your Rziq is in the Hand of الله. Whether you chase it with the intensity of a starving man or flee from it, it will find you just as surely as your death will find you. Stop making yourself a slave to work, to bosses, or to human means. When you realize that the Provider is الله alone, you stop humiliating yourself before anyone but الله. If the cause you rely on today disappears, the Creator of that cause will provide through another. He is the Cause of all causes, the All-Provider, with no partner. Focus on the Akhirah. Seek the pleasure of الله. Let your heart be at rest knowing your share is secured by the One who created you. Whoever attaches his heart to the means (Al-Asbab) rather than the Creator of those means, الله will leave him to those means. Consequently, he becomes humiliated, enslaved to them, and he shall attain nothing except what الله has already decreed for him. Indeed, the Shirk of means is among the most prevalent forms of Shirk, we ask الله for Al-afiyah. Live with dignity, live free, and fear no one but the One who provides for you and sustains your soul.

my friend who's now committed for over 4 years very casually in a conversation told me, "you don't change your partner, you accept them as they are but also your partner should consciously change for you to be a better human and a lover" i was flabbergasted.

it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself

I like befriending people who have a lot going on career-wise, because they end up being the most stable friends who don’t start acting weird. They have too much going on to even worry about competing over the weirdest things.

A girl just said she tried to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning pageants, securing hella paid brand deals, and appearing in commercials. This is your sign to chase rejection to the point of "accidental" success. You'll be surprised.

Imam Ghazali said: Everyone speaks of patience as if it's simple, until life forces the first bitter gulp down their throat. In that moment, lectures become reality, and you finally understand that endurance is swallowing pain every day without letting the world see you bleed

Frightening words It is attributed to Ibn al-Jawzī (rahimahuLlah) that he said: "إذا غرق القلب في المُباح أظلم... فكيف بالحرام؟" “If the heart becomes immersed in what is permissible, it darkens.. so what then of the unlawful?” Permissible things include: eating too much, 1/2

A date seed has an ultra-thin membrane-like covering called Qitmeer. And Allah says: Man does not even own this tiny layer - so what, then, gives him the right to arrogance on this earth?

One secret: BARAKAH. When Allah places barakah in something, it exceeds it's natural capacity. Two hours produce what should take ten. Limited time accomplishes unlimited impact. The Prophet's ﷺ time was blessed. His ﷺ words, actions, presence and his entire life was blessed. That's why 23 years felt like 230 years of achievement. Let me show you 5 ways (out of many) the Prophet ﷺ attracted barakah into his life:

One thing I believe every woman should have is firmness. Be firm in your decisions. Be firm in your choices. Just be firm. Let your word be your bond. If you say you will do something, make every effort to follow through and do it well. Always carry that sense of resolve.

Please marry someone who is close to your level of imaan and your halal–haram ratio. Don’t marry a “project” thinking you’ll fix them. That mindset doesn’t build marriage, it builds resentment and ends in divorce

Even in Islam, we're taught to make hijrah. If you don't like where you are, move. If your environment drains you, change it. If what influences you isn't good for you, walk away. There's nothing wrong with leaving what harms you.
