@ClaudetteGGibs1 I live in the same city as Natalie Holloway. When she disappeared, another, young lady disappeared a few days later. It was hardly mentioned in the news. She was Black.

I want every one to recall the Natalie Holloway case and how devastated every one was when she went missing. Communities and law enforcement rallied around them to get answers, and rightly so. This is all we ask when Black people die or disappear under suspicious circumstances.

Latinos aren’t used to seeing Black people actually have upward mobility like we do in America. They expect us to be like the Afro Latinos back home with close to none

Nolan Wells, a Black kid, left behind on a Mississippi island by his white friends on the 4th of July. Body found. No urgency, no immediate alarm. The West loves to preach equality until a Black boy is the ‘only one’ in the group, then it’s silence, suspicion, and accidents.

Black people who grew up in white communities sharing that they never experienced racism or always felt accepted by their white friends makes me wonder why the conversation so often shifts into protecting white people from accusations no one made.

Let’s use logic. A group of friends go out, one doesn’t come back. The ones who come back have apparently no idea what happened & immediately lawyered up. Doesn’t that sound suspicious? At this point, each one of those “friends” are suspects.
