@Hybrid_Ola I knew these 2 from 2015 to 2018 when she traveled abroad alone. I was surprised he didn’t join her and for years he was still here in Nigeria while the wife remained abroad. I thought they already silently divorced

@Honeys_Money1 @Hybrid_Ola That’s true sha. That’s why I’m so shocked by the drama. They separated and was waiting for official divorce which I dunno if that was done. The separation was quiet, no noise. But now he’s granting interviews here and there.

@therealmaf_ Before now, many women were married and left in Nigeria with kids while the man was pursuing dreams abroad with hopes they will join him, some women didn’t enter the airport, but they were recieving packages from abroad.

A friend is going through the most heart wrenching betrayal. Her husband has been in the UK for 5 years while she stayed in Lagos raising their two kids, sending him foodstuff and dried fish through "cargo" so he wouldn't miss home. She was literally praying for his papers to click. The shock? Someone sent her a TikTok of a naming ceremony. There he was, glowing in a blue tuxedo, holding a newborn with a woman who is a Nurse in London. While my friend was here battling NEPA and school fees, he had a whole second family. He used her loyalty as a home base while he chased a life with another woman for papers. When she called him, he just said, "Nigeria is hard, I had to survive. Omo He stopped their allowance and everything. He really chose the UK life and that Nurse over the woman who stayed with him when he had nothing in Shomolu. I am actually shaking for her. Men will watch you suffer for them in Nigeria while they enjoy the fruits of another woman's labor abroad. FEAR MEN.

Toyin Abraham called me while I was at a job with a music artist at Eko Atlantic and asked me to come on set, after I was done shooting the two scenes, she paid me ₦50,000. She told me to invite my friends that were content creators for the premier to support me because it was my first Cinema movie, I eventually found out the two scenes I shot were removed, it hurt me because I had turned down a job Funke Akindele offered me just to attend to her. - Abike Shugaa

Young international students coming to canada makes some bad choices. One of mistake they make is buying an expensive car.. To make payment, They do 3rd party food deliveries and Uber. By the time those payments are made, Car already have many Kilometres on it. Car value goes down Your hardwork goes into gutter Better buy decent vehicle to commute if needed.. You are not here to impress You are here to progress.

@FinestDoveTruth @theastridnoir These issues becoming rampant is because marriages in Nigeria were sitting on a time bomb. Some homes do not have communication and collaboration. Just knacks and instructions. They disconnected way back. A solid marriage will function anywhere and even better.

A lot of women are the reason why their husbands are unhappy here in the UK. I’m not writing this to denigrate women, but to call attention to things that may seem small, yet are very important to the mental health of your husbands. In Nigeria, many men have ways they unwind. Those who drink go to a local bar, gist with friends and even strangers, take a bottle or two, then return home with the energy needed to keep the family moving forward. Those who play football do it on weekends. That’s when they meet other men, shout at each other over rough tackles, argue a bit, and settle it quickly. By the time they get home, shower, and rest, they feel refreshed again. For those who lift weights in local gyms, they go there, vibe to music, push themselves, challenge each other, and feel good about who they are. For the older ones, they play draft or simply sit under a tree, catching fresh air with other elderly men. They return home calmer, lighter, and ready to continue supporting their families. Then they come to the UK, and all of that stops. It’s understandable because of the work-life structure here. These men understand their responsibilities. They know they need to be present and support their families. But whenever they get the chance to step out and unwind, some wives refuse. It’s either an excuse about being left alone, or a sudden reminder that they should be spending more time at home, or unnecessary chores, or even arguments—just to stop them from leaving the house. At some point, my woman wanted me to stop going out to play football. But I made her understand that it’s the only hobby I have. I enjoy seeing other Nigerian men, shouting at each other, cracking jokes, bantering, and even organising yearly get-togethers from our weekly contributions. That is how I unwind. She eventually realised it wasn’t a battle worth fighting and let it go. I met a guy yesterday in Liverpool, and he said the same thing. Every time he wants to go and play football, it turns into an issue at home. It’s not that we are neglecting our responsibilities. We do our share of the chores. Sometimes, we even help with yours. But we also need to be around other men. Men need to be in the midst of men to feel like men. All that energy, call it testosterone if you like…..needs somewhere to go. Sports, jokes, banter, physical challenge… these things matter. It is only when we unwind that we can give you the best version of ourselves. You don’t have to keep your man indoors like a pet before you can feel secure or happy. Let him breathe. He will come back better. ~FinestDove

One of the reasons poverty is deep in Nigeria is this The people we meet daily are dishonest, lying, satanic demons who believe their only way to success is to cheat you I know at least 2 people who can open 10 barbing salons, get cars for Uber, open shops, etc etc. They have the money to do so But they are refusing to open one business because the employees will cheat them as they have always done So many people with money are on this table. they are scared of opening businesses that will employ people and reduce poverty because the people that will be employed will come with the mindset to steal and wreck things Everyone is tying up their money in real estate, stocks, REITS in America, etc. Nobody is creating Jobs. The average Nigerian does not trust the average Nigerian

@kenkenlewu Sending 10 crates is totally wrong. Best approach is to quietly make the indomie and egg, eat it quietly and then know that you r not marrying their son cos of ur stance but the attitude of dropping the item then go to send 10 crates it’s an insult. Sometimes wisdom is key.

My friend went to visit her future mother-in-law last weekend… and came back single. The woman cooked their local food, but my friend couldn’t eat it. So she told her, “Go to the kitchen and make something for yourself.” My friend boiled Indomie and wanted to fry 2 eggs. Immediately the woman saw it, she shouted; “Two eggs for one Indomie? Is that how you eat in your fàther’s house? We don’t waste food like that here! Things are expensive!” The woman removed one egg. My friend quietly trashed the food, and left. Her boyfriend called her later. She said, “I can’t marry into a family that counts eggs like this.” He replied, “My mum is only trying to train you to be a good home manager.” Few minutes later… He called back, angry: “Why did you send 10 crates of eggs to my mum? Are you trying to insult her?” My friend said: “She can call me if she needs more.” Relationship scattered!

@Raye_Hg The cars shipped down are totaled cars that are worthless. Imagine a 2018 total car at 3k usd, they will buy and ship and sell for millions. It’s still Nigerians scamming their fellow citizens.

Nigerians are paying premium prices for cars that people in the U.S. are getting rid of. How is a Toyota Avalon selling for ₦25–27 million here, when the same car costs about $15k in the U.S.? We end up driving what other countries consider scraps, yet we pay top dollar for it. At this point, Nigeria feels like a dumping ground for the rest of the world.

I attended a wedding last month. They are already headed for divorce. Here is what happened. Since they got married, this March was the very first time the wife received her salary. The husband's immediate response was to ask her to transfer everything into his account. She said no, but made it clear she was willing to fully support the home without holding back. The man was not interested in that arrangement. He wants total control of her money. Both families have stepped in to settle the matter. Nobody is backing down. Above all, love God.
