It was 2015, just after graduation. I had just returned to Abuja after surviving UNIBEN. I had a neighbour who worked at NRS (formerly FIRS). He had always been kind to me, and we used to talk about life whenever I came home during holidays. So when I finished school, I felt it was the right time to approach him about job opportunities. Around that same time, a friend of mine came back with me from school. He didn’t want to return to Kaduna immediately, so he asked if he could stay with me for a week. He also wanted to use the opportunity to see his girlfriend in Abuja. I spoke to my parents, and they agreed. When I spoke to my neighbour, he asked me to prepare my CV and bring a hard copy, as they were looking to hire. I mentioned my friend to him, and he said he could also submit his CV. We both prepared our CVs and planned to visit him together so I could introduce my friend properly. One Tuesday night, we went to his house, but he wasn’t around. I called him, but he didn’t pick. Later, he sent a message saying he had travelled and would be back on Thursday. Unfortunately, I had to travel to Delta State on Thursday for personal reasons, while my friend was scheduled to return to Kaduna on Friday. So I gave my CV to my friend and asked him to submit both his and mine to my neighbour when he returned. I had already informed my neighbour that my friend would come on my behalf, and he agreed. I travelled. When I got to Delta, I called my friend again to remind him. I had also confirmed that my neighbour was back in Abuja. That evening, around 9pm, my friend went to submit the CVs and told me he had done so. The next day, he travelled back to Kaduna. Everything seemed fine. Until I returned to Abuja. My neighbour called me and asked: “Why did you change your mind about working with the government?” I was confused. I said "as how naw?" He then told me that the CVs submitted were for my friend and his girlfriend. Mine was not included. According to him, my friend said I wanted to go to law school first and maybe do some private practice before considering working with his agency. My neighbour even showed me the CVs. Mine was not there. I called my friend. His response? “You know your parents are still alive… mine are not. Plus na only me my babe get. I just feel say job no go hard you get na why… abeg no vex.” That was it. Harrison… I hope this post goes viral and that you somehow come across it wherever you may be at the moment. So you can see yourself clearly for the evil that you are.

Take a close look at this picture. Do you notice how the ministers are following the King and the President? This isn’t just about the dinner, my fellow Nigerians. You’ll see that each minister has a British counterpart, and they’re all engaged in discussions. Do you really think those conversations are meaningless ? Photo Credit: @NGRPresident @otegaogra

you’re one of the very few Nigerian politicians who built real wealth outside politics… You’ve run successful businesses both within and outside Nigeria, so i mean you understand the reality of building and sustaining a business far better than most people, including MySELF. And tHats why this kind of initiative is honestly hard to process esp. coming from you.. From someone else, it might pass. But from you sIR? it feels rather disappointing cause it comes across almost like “vote-buying” even tho that may not be the intention. ₦100,000 to 5,000 people may sound impactful on the surface, but when you really think about it, what kind of businesses can that realistically build? How many more pure water, Ewedu &pepper sellers, or even small roadside traders can that community absorb? These are already saturated spaces, and most of them don’t even lead to long-term sustainability or lift people out of poverty. If the real goal is empowerment, then it has to be sustainable. Imagine channeling that same ₦500 million into 10–20 already existing, viable businesses within your constituency. Businesses that are working, that just need capital to scale.. With your experience, you can identify and support them properly. Those businesses grow. They hire more people. Even if each employs just 5 additional staff, that’s over 100 people earning steady monthly income, not a one-off ₦100,000 And that’s how you move people out of poverty.. And support long-term.. and as those businesses strives, the impact multiplies over years. Sir, you understand this better than MOST. That’s why this approach feels surprising. Because this isn’t just about sharing money, it’s about creating SYSTEMS that LAST. with your level of exposure and business expertise, you have the opportunity to build something far more sustainable and TRANSFORMATIONAL than this.

When @jon_d_doe said women do not love men, people came for him. She is in Canada, she is aware that this man loves her, she could file for him and he would get a better job to cater for her and the children, but no. She came online to broke shame him. Once a lady has a little change of status, men that use to help and support her become lower class. “I outgrew him” Omo Oshi 😆 This is why we keep asking men never to be apologetic about their preference. It is ok not to date or marry a fat lady. It is ok not to date or marry an illiterate woman. It is ok not to date or marry someone with fibroid, PCOS, Asthma, SS or any other health challenges. It is ok to not marry single mother as your first wife. It is ok to cancel a wedding and your excuse can be “I fell out of love” It is ok to not bring your wife abroad if you don’t feel convinced. It is ok to be wicked, unapologetic and selfish!!!!

"He is still in Nigeria, broke. If I had married him, I would have been somewhere suffering." Even she doesn't believe she carries good luck and grace to make him succeed. At least she dated him and he remained poor. You can see you 9ja men don't have sense. Spiritual and supernatural intuition una.

Go to any community (especially in the South-South region of Nigeria) that has not had light for the past 10 years due to bad or no transformer. Tell them you want to use your money to buy a transformer for them and pay the power company to install the transformer for them so that they will have light. Tell them that when they have light, it will lead to more development and more people will be able to start small businesses which will help the economy of the community. You would expect that such an offer should immediately make you a celebrity in that commumity, right? They should immediately start worshippimg you for coming to save them from 10 years of darkness, right? Wrong. Do you know what will happen? The youths of that commumity will ask you to settle them first before you can bring that transformer for them to have light. And if you cannot settle them, then forget about your transformer. That is the Nigeria we live in today especially the South-South Region. ~Mute Efe

One of the most disturbing things I witnessed in Zamfara happened at a naming ceremony. Bandits stormed a child’s naming ceremony. They handed the father a knife and ordered him to slaughter his own newborn. He refused. They handed the knife to the wife and told her to kill her husband. She refused. In front of her, they killed both the man and the child, (as in slaughtering them) and then left the woman alive. She was brought to our facility. Until the day I left Zamfara, that woman never recovered mentally. When Nigerians argue about whether terrorism is exaggerated, I remember her face. It will never be well with APC! This practice took me from 700 naira to making $15k in one year without a mentor or any prior experience. If you grew up poor, there is a high chance your parents were poor too. That is not an insult. It is a pattern. Study that pattern carefully. Look at the habits, decisions, and environments that kept them in that position. If they ever told stories about missed opportunities, bad partnerships, fear of taking risks, or lack of information, take those stories seriously. They are lessons. You are an extension of your parents, environment in a different dimension and generation, and without awareness, you would often repeat the same cycles they were raised in. Your job is to break the parts that did not work. First, learn a valuable skill. Something people are willing to pay for. But do not stop there. A skill without marketing and sales is invisible. Learn how to present your work, communicate value, and convince people to pay for what you know. Learn to speak and write clear English. Like it or not, it is still one of the most powerful languages in business, technology, and global opportunities. Communication opens doors that talent alone cannot. After developing a skill, talk to people. A lot of people. If possible, speak to 2,000 to 3,000 strangers in a year online. Send messages, join discussions, attend virtual rooms, comment on posts, ask questions, and participate in conversations about business and money. Opportunities often come through networks, not silence. Numbers matter. Also understand that you cannot do life completely alone. Find at least one person you can speak to honestly when things get hard. Someone you can vent to, exchange ideas with, or receive perspective from. Everyone needs a sounding board. Reduce distractions. Too much focus on chasing pleasure, relationships, and temporary excitement can derail long-term goals. For a season of your life, obsession with improvement and financial stability may require discipline and sacrifice. Practice daily affirmations and mental conditioning. The way you speak to yourself shapes how you act. Confidence, persistence, and belief are built through repetition. Compete with yourself, not with other people. Your target should be beating your previous performance. Improve your output, your knowledge, your network, and your discipline year after year. Be visible online. Share what you are learning, what you are building, and what you are thinking about. The internet rewards visibility. People cannot support or hire someone they cannot see. Be careful around people who dismiss everything as “cruise.” Life is not a permanent joke. If you are not careful, you can cruise your way straight into long-term poverty. And when you finally start making money, do not relax too early. Learn how to grow it, invest it, and multiply it. Financial progress is not about one win. It is about building momentum and continuing to move forward. And join my Wednesday spaces 8:00 pm WAT today to learn how to make money.

Person Don mumu for this life o. I remembered after I broke up with this guy, I removed all my clothes and went stark nãked in the midnight. Naso I begin to fire prayer that this guy will suffër for 600 years and that he’d give birth to girls, and that men will break his daughters’ hearts the way he broke my heart. Foto. This guy is currently doing well and he has 4 boys. I’m saying this because many ladies are on this table, but you know what? Those curses will never work. God isn’t from your village. It’s another advantage if the man has a father because all the curses you feel you’ve placed on him won’t pass the ceiling of your room. Shalom!

When I was about to begin my second Masters in UK, I saw this fine 9ja babe in the class WhatsApp group. She had some questions as she just came into the country and I messaged her directly to guide her. That was how we started talking.. She came to my place and we talked about 9ja, life in UK and I sorted out some of her issues. Then she left. One week later, my mother called me. “Do you know XXX? She is in your city and even attends your school now.” I answered in the affirmative. That she was in my class sef. My mother then said, “Thank God I called before you people commit abomination. That is your cousin ooo. You know my cousin XXX, that is her daughter.” I messaged this babe and told her what my mom said. She was like who is your mom? I told her and werey said “Aunty XXX is your mom? Wow. Senior Brother, Senior Brother!” Na so I take turn senior brother for UK. “Your sister need money ooo,” “Wisdom, shebi you cook? In Canada, antenatal & baby delivery is free even if a CS was done. You don’t pay a dime. Right in the hospital, your new baby gets registered for a monthly payment of $600 from the government till the baby gets to the age of 18. However, your baby will never be allowed to leave the hospital until you get a baby car seat. I just said I should drop this here…

There is N242 billion in unclaimed dividends sitting in the Nigerian capital market right now. That is money that companies declared and paid out. But it never reached the shareholders. N242 billion. Just sitting there. Your parents or grandparents may have bought shares during the 2004 to 2008 stock market boom. A lot of them bought and forgot about it. Life happened. They moved houses. Changed phone numbers. Changed banks. Never updated their records. But those companies didn’t stop paying dividends. The money has been piling up year after year with nobody collecting it. Here’s where it gets serious. Under the Finance Act 2020, any unclaimed dividend older than 6 years is supposed to be transferred to something called the Unclaimed Funds Trust Fund managed by the government. The fund hasn’t been fully set up yet. So for now, SEC has directed companies and registrars to keep paying shareholders who come forward with valid claims. But that window won’t stay open forever. The longer you wait, the more complicated it gets to recover your money. Now here’s what you should do. Go to the SEC unclaimed dividend portal. The link is on the SEC Nigeria website. Type your name. Type your father’s name. Your mother’s name. Your grandparents’ names. Try different spelling variations because old records were not always accurate. It is completely free to search. If you find money in your name or your family’s name, note the registrar listed next to it. Contact them. Submit your valid ID and documents. Get your CSCS number sorted if you don’t have one. Link everything to your bank account through the NIBSS e-dividend mandate. The search takes minutes. The full recovery process depends on your registrar but people have gotten it done within days. I have seen people recover money from shares their family bought 15 years ago and completely forgot about. Go and check today. Tag someone whose parents were into stocks back in the day. They need to see this.
