All my life, my whole family thought we were Irish. I always made corned beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day. I love corned beef! We thought we were Irish because we have a lot of redheads in the family. Plus, our tree shows that our family, the McCalls, immigrated from Ireland in the mid-1800s. In 2009, I even took my daughter on a trip to Ireland to show her the country our family came from. Then I did my DNA. Turns out, we have no Irish at all. Not even a fraction of a percent. We're Scottish. The McCalls originated in Scotland and immigrated to Ireland in the 1600s. Guess I'll have to take a trip to Scotland one day. 🤷‍♀️

@bobbankvillage @FawMacsen I've been checking JD Sports website, as have a load of others I know who want to buy this. Why put the shirt up there but not the jacket when they're the same range! Awful marketing planning

@FaithNotesCo @Playteaux1 And whilst we're on New Orelans, don't get me started on the "hand grenade is the strongest drink available only 2 per customer" or whatever bollocks it was. I was drinking stronger DIY mixes at 13

Sometimes I wish I could open a restaurant in the UK so I could blow their minds daily with seasoning and flavor.

When I lived there the food didn't have a strong flavor. It wasn't bad just different. Even desserts were a little blah. When I did have Gen Tso Chicken, I asked for it spicy. The cook came out to see who was ordering and was smiling because he could make it hot! I would stop by there once a month.

@theTiser I take it none of you commenting have experienced migraines or a TIA? Both can cause aphasia. I have migraines and the first time I experienced aphasia as a precursor aura it absolutely terrified me. A friend of mine had a TIA in front of me and it started the same way.

I urge @elonmusk, @JDVance and the wider American administration to deploy whatever appropriate power they hold to prevent Keir Starmer from banning X in Britain. Free speech must be protected, and such disgusting authoritarianism must be resisted. We need help.

Having consulted with our legal team over the weekend, we have decided that if Labour does try to ban X Restore Britain will fight them in the courts. We will fund the legal battle to stop Starmer. Join the Restore Britain movement to support that. restorebritain.org.uk/join_us

Good news. The BBC stands a good chance of going bust now Trump has issued a $10billion lawsuit ( £7.4bn) through a Florida court for editing his speech to make it look like he encouraged the Capitol Hill riots. His claim for defamation is twice the BBC’s annual income and I doubt there’s a single viewer who would be prepared to stump up for their money to cross the pond. The scandal has already cost Tim Davie and the Head of News their jobs and it would be sad if 22,000 others employees would follow them. The old mantra Go Woke, Go Broke does seem to come into play here.
