Southampton have got off lightly - no fine, just a minor points deduction along with rightly being expelled from a knockout competition. If it can be proven they have been doing this for most of the season they should be relegated by the FA.

@OfSelina A true football fan would understand that the Boro v Saints semi finals should never have taken place to begin with, as Saints should have been hoofed immediately. EFL dropped the ball there but ultimately time constraints have hampered a thorough investigation.

If you are a true football fan and not these plastic ones who flood socials for engagement then unless there is undeniable evidence a team has manipulated the result of a match the result should still stand If you lost a semi final you don’t get to play in a final

How can anyone just assume #NUFC would have walked in and taken the Europa League trophy? I know it’s not a high end tournament but you do remember this season’s results and performances under Eddie Howe have been very poor. I don’t think we would have rocked up and won it!
