@Stephen1010102 @Joe_Citrone So on that basis, let’s not bother playing any games at all. Let’s just look at the salaries and decide upon the league table.

@oftheleftside @Joe_Citrone Ah I’m glad you mentioned money spent as you obviously (correctly) equate money spent with performance.
So by that logic Wrexham should beat Oxford all day long and twice on Sunday.
Add wages on top of this and see how that compares to Oxford as of now.

@Stephen1010102 @Joe_Citrone No, they weren’t. But we’ve spent a (relative) fortune improving our squad, apparently. So whilst the opposition has improved, so should we have.
English

@oftheleftside @Joe_Citrone Because Bolton are clearly on par with the level of most championship teams aren’t they.

@OUFCOfficial How brilliant to see Kevin Brock. One of our greatest home grown talents and seldom seen in association with #oufc in recent times.

I know some might not want to read this but that was a sixth straight home win for a Derby side today who I reckon was put together at a cost of around ten times what ours is. A bit of context. We needed to be very good today but were below average in all areas #oufc

@GeorgeElek You had me until the sentence ‘Beat Wrexham and Sheffield Wednesday’. We won’t. I forecast a grand total of 1 point from these two.
English

Message to Oxford fans feeling down this afternoon. Beat Wrexham and Sheff Wed and Blackburn will have to win at Sheff Utd to be above us going into Millwall. It was always likely we’d need to win those two, and if we do we go into final day with every chance. #oufc

@BraddersSimon He’s not a winner, Simon. Lovely bloke who quite clearly cares a lot, but he’s no winner.
Some will argue, with some justification, that he’s earned a shot at next season in L1. Personally, I’d be happy to see a parting of the ways, though I don’t think that will happen.
