I was telling someone yesterday that, as a Relationship Manager, you don't have to wait for the pool car to be available before going for a customer's meeting.
He missed a scheduled engagement because other Relationship Managers had already taken the pool car for marketing.
When I was with Sterling Bank, there were countless times I rode a commercial motorcycle (Okada) from Apapa to Marina just to meet a customer. I would get back to the office, and the people who left before me would still be out.
If you've already scheduled a meeting and the pool car isn't available, find another way to get there. Take a bike, use public transport, or book a ride if you have to.
Imagine telling your BDM or Head of Sales that you missed a customer's meeting because the pool car wasn't available. The BDM would just be disappointed.
Sometimes, the little things we do reveal our level of commitment to the job and the quality of service we give our customers.
Don't say "How much are they even paying me" as an excuse not to do things that will convert to sales and give a long lasting customer relationship.
Your attitude to the job will always outlive your current employer.

Everytime I see Ambassadors' College making the news, I always remember that I once applied as a science teacher.
By myself, I withdrew from the first round of interviews. 😂😭💀

I got the list of Ambassador's College medalists at the just concluded International STEM Olympiad. Gold medals (Maths) 1. Daniel Abara 2. Taiwo Demilade 3. David Ufondu 4. Chidalu Emeka-Okoye 5. Idu Seth Gold Medals (Science) 1. Teniayo Alade 2. Daniel Abara 3. Treasures Olawunmi Jephtah 4. Chidalu Emeka-Okoye 5. Daniel Afolabi Among several other gold, silver and bronze medal winners in science, coding, math, bridge, and several honorable mentions. The entire country has plenty of reasons to be proud, not just one section of it. But at the end of the day. The three South East Olympiad winners hit specially because they were the only ones that went there from the personal funds of one man to represent the region. Next year's winners of South East Math Olympiad, I hope you're ready.

Listen, you’re unlikely to lead a bank or almost any financial institution if you cannot sell, originate business or “bring deals”.
Yes, there are successful people who never really had to sell but they’re not in the majority….and even those people eventually have to attract business, build relationships when they start reaching senior levels.
If you can’t win and retain clients or originate profitable business conversations, you’re limiting how far you can go.

Those last 2reps did not build any extra muscles btw. You do not need to get to total muscular failure to build muscle. 2-3 reps shy of failure is sufficient. If you like take my advice, if you like don’t , that’s you and your family members problem, i have spoken.
