Overall, the CSI-4 did well at distinguishing people with low-to-average relationship satisfaction. But, it suggested that lower-income individuals' satisfaction was lower than it really was.

@SNiehuis @AlanReifman @EmmaGrossmann et al. found that this item performed well on its own. Researchers may consider sticking to this item when evaluating satisfaction between groups.
You can also use some more complex modeling procedures, outlined in the discussion. (7/8)

My coffee hadn't fully kicked in while I was teaching at 9 a.m. to have my Provost, Dean, and Chair interrupt my lecture to present me with this award. I'm still in a bit of shock but grateful to have been with my honors capstone students when this was announced!
