What is your honest review? My Captain recently instructed me to take down a post I made about “Bandits being cared for more than Soldiers in Nigeria.” I want to understand why a post like this is not permitted. Why do we Nigerians fear the truth so much? A civilian can be sentenced to death for killing a herdsman who attacked him on his own farm. Yet officers and men of the Nigerian Army are prohibited from shooting at bandits, while they are allowed to open fire on us! There are so many hidden truths that never reach the news, including the fact that not all the “bandits” paraded as killed by the armed forces are genuine bandits. There is a massive problem with people filming others without consent. The person who got upset in this video has just as much right to privacy as the man filming his cattle. ​We need to normalize asking for permission before recording people or their property. Let’s be honest the guy filming this was being purely mischievous.

It was not actually a kidnapping, they used the kidnapping as a cover up. It was a deliberate and calculated assassination of the Sarki Gobir. The Sarki Gobir is a Hausa man, and very important figure amongst the Hausas. His throne survives the jihadists onslaught. Till date, neither the Sultan, the Sokoto government, nor other influential traditional rulers have publicly paid condolences.
