this is my final post as Head of PR at @bstategames after almost 9 years working on @tarkov and @tarkovarena, i’m leaving the studio – to pursue something that simply cannot be created inside a classic, familiar structure BSG and Tarkov have changed the lives of millions of people. including mine i’m proud of the team, the community, and the world we built together. i want to sincerely thank everyone i had the chance to work with during these years and with whom we achieved so much: my beloved colleagues, trusted partners, incredibly talented content creators, and the people closest to me. @nikgeneburn and many others 🫡 but most of all – the players. those who all these years cared and still care about the fate of our shared, beloved game Escaped from Tarkov

i’ve almost forgotten what it feels like to work on something new – something that doesn’t seem to exist yet, but you’re already eager to share. especially when you do it with like-minded people and close friends it’s a happy time of pure creativity and fresh beginnings. like looking at the horizon where the sun is rising #RushisReal

@ogdmit Cormac McCarthy for me hadn't read a book in like 20 years saw @Wendigoon8 talking about The road so I picked it up now I'm hooked on his work just read No country for old men deffo have a greater appreciation for the story now since I saw the film first onto Blood meridian next.

@ogdmit JRR Tolkien, because he is the godfather of Fantasy. Spent his WHOLE ENTIRE life literally writing EVERY backstory and lineage of every character of his you come across in his books! FANTASTIC writing in the realm of High Fantasy!

@ogdmit John Irving ... for his beautiful twisted stories that make you laugth and cry. If you need a starting point: "A widow for one year" or "The last chairlift"!

@ogdmit My favourite Book Series is from the Australia Matthew Riley. Ice Station, Temple, Seven Dead Wonders and Many more. If you like A Military Race around the world, some mythology and 'ancient civilisations' with Archaeology I would Highly recommend reading his entire series!

@ogdmit Terry Pratchett. The entire universe of Discworld was my escape when I was younger and re-reading them now I have a greater appreciation for the layer humour across the franchise. Close to 100 books in the series, none of them dull!

@ogdmit Honestly my favorite is @JackCarrUSA and his James Reece series. Tickles my tism in all the right ways, first book is the Terminal List and it's a page turner of government conspiracy, revenge, and gun play.

@ogdmit stephen king, the dark tower series is one of the best horror fantasy series i have ever read. probably only behind lord of the rings for me

@ogdmit My favorite books growing up were The Hatchet series by Gary Paulsen. Never was very keen on reading but remember those. good enough to leave an imprint still in my head years later.
