@Acholi_godddd Odonga Otto had more than a decade in parliament to correct this. Once you swear in you become an MP. All those petitions are innocent till proven guilty. The right debate is to put policies that stop those with election petitions from swearing in.

@bigyenano @alexmugasha1 As a Member of Parliament you are allocated about 300,000,000 ugx to buy a car. The car is a personal asset that you keep. They can still use that car after office. Still as an MP after 5years and you can't afford a personal vehicle is poor thinking.

You are appointed a minister, given cars and security detail for five years, after the five years, you are dropped as minister, and worse when you aren't even a member of parliament. What happens thereafter, it must be a difficult period to become a community member again. Or is it actually easy?
