A lot of debate about the Mo Salah comments and whether he was right or wrong. My take is this: everything he said was bang on. Salah transformed the team to winners. And winners do not accept torrid seasons like this.

@D15Twisted @1nsightty how is sending out vague ig posts clearing anything up? if anything, its causing more issues for the club as the fans are forced to choose a side.
Im not saying he should cover up issues but saying it over instagram vaguely is possibly the worst way to go about it

@oharper18 @1nsightty Respect is not covering up issues, respect is wanting the best for the club, it’s clear that talk behind closed doors isn’t working.
I don’t like these double standards, the club/slot are happy to criticise Salah in the media, goes both ways.
Most expensive wage? He earned it.

@AlexBatt Its amazing to me after watching salah for his whole liverpool career can come here and post things like this...... salah was the reason for so much success. This season just about every player has ghosted and thats down to the coach not salah

Going back to this… the cheek of posting it after throwing in 0/10s most week. Yes you’re a legend of the club, but you’re at fault for this season too. Massively.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

@D15Twisted @1nsightty what? ofc not 😂 but when you are given the most expensive wage in the clubs history and the league, you owe the whole club respect. That’s the least he could do. If he doesn’t get on with slot that should be private. he’s shown his true colours once again

@1nsightty Salah gave his best years to our club, have some respect.
If you ever took time to understand Salah then you would know he is not the player to hold grudges and spite people. He has nothing to win by making those comments which shows that he really cares about the club.

Great statement from Mo, but funny he was fine with the style of play last season when it set up specifically to maximise his lack of defensive work and to keep him as high up the pitch as possible at all times. Oh well
