@LOTM_WORLD It's easy to make things look good when over 40% of the image is just the color black. Its a well known crutch in flim making, just make it dark asf so no one can see whats going on but at least it hides all the imperfections

Book 1 Korra absolutely destroys Book 3 Aang, and it’s not even close. People love to talk about Aang’s 'journey,' but they ignore that by the end of Book 3, Aang was a work-in-progress. He was a master of Air and Water, sure, but he spent the series speed-running Earth and Fire just to keep his head above water. Even Toph and Zuko constantly called him out for not having a real grasp on the mechanics of those elements. He was essentially a defensive specialist playing catch-up. Then you have Book 1 Korra. She is a natural-born prodigy who had Fire, Water, and Earth mastered by 16. By the end of Book 1, she’s not only a powerhouse in those three, but she unlocks the Avatar State and Airbending on command. You are comparing a girl who was literally born to be an offensive weapon to a boy who was still learning the fundamentals of 50% of his toolkit.

I don’t believe in Hell because as a Christian myself, I believe that God knows everything that we will do in our lives before He even creates us. If God knew that we would perform acts worthy of hell and crested us anyway, thereby condemning us to hell from the moment of our birth, then God is evil and not merciful. Since God is good and merciful, it follows that God does not create people worthy of hell. Therefore any act of charity is independent of “points” toward heaven. I haven’t volunteered to work soup kitchens in many years, but those acts are “surfacey” and performative anyway. The impact it makes to serve soup is minimal. I do what I can for others wherever I can, and I think that’s adequate. I’d do more if I could.

OK, I’m just flipping tables at this point. I know people are discussing Helen’s (and now Clytemnestra’s) ethnicity, but here’s a different complaint: Why would you have the SAME ACTRESS play two sisters who are NOT TWINS? It’s like every decision is meant to take the audience out of the story. We have rap. We have random American accents. We have anachronistic language like “Let’s go!” & “Daddy.” We have one actress playing two characters that are not identical nor twins. We have a female presumably playing a male. I take this stuff very personally because of my obsession with epic literature and mythology. I really would love to be wrong. I’m probably going to give Christopher Nolan my ticket money just to see what he comes up with, but I’m afraid this is Rings of Power 2.0.
