For all my lifters:
computer vision app to measure back curvature during deadlift!
main technical highlights:
— RF-DETR (Roboflow) to segment the person (great performance out-the-box with no additional training!)
— YOLO11n (Ultralytics) for bounding box prediction around the barbell weight plate (trained on my own small dataset).
— Mediapipe (Google) for pose landmark detection to guide the bounds for the line fitting.
— Custom logic to fit a line across the back.

If you don't have someone who can take on customer calls for your brand you are LOSING hundreds of thousands on the table
Imagine your customer with an LTV of $200 is pissed that his order is delayed a MONTH (very common)
He then goes to your lander, calls the number, and then NO ONE picks up (your brand rn), He is now calling the bank.
This is actually what's happening to your brand on a much larger scale, and how most of your chargebacks happen (This is why your profit margin is shit)
You could avoid all of this by having a team that can take on this, Imagine this SAME customer calling, and when they picked up the phone, instead of no one answering, It was also an American, with an American accent.
And this SAME customer could have been up-selled mid call, the CS rep makes him an "exclusive" coupon code (expires if he leaves the call), and now the customers LTV went from $200 to $300 in real time, (upselling on the call works very well)
The customer literally goes from - $215 to + $300 on the call (one of many cases)

Alex, your story about that missed quote due to a CRM glitch hit home. Nothing worse than losing a deal to bad processes. Nothing worse than losing a sale because of a broken system. Not because of effort, not because of price…but because the backend screwed you.
We had a lead schedule a quote.
Nobody showed up.
He called us twice.
Nobody answered.
Then a month later, when the system auto closed the estimate, he replied to the automated message saying we were unprofessional and never showed.
He’s right.
It wasn’t laziness. It wasn’t intentional. It was a bad process. He got tagged incorrectly in our CRM and the system silenced him. No notifications. No follow up.
This is why processes matter.
You can be great at sales, marketing, equipment operation. None of it matters if your backend is broken. You don’t rise to the level of your ambition… you fall to the level of your systems.
Big oof. Lesson learned.

Something we see all the time at @1NationUp: small biz owners spend big on branding and ads but lose leads because no one calls back fast enough.
Most industry research I've seen goes in length into how ~40 % of companies struggle to follow up and teams take days to respond to prospective customers.
Early on as we were getting started we set a goal of getting back to inquiries within 24 hours. We understood it was important to respond quickly but we wanted to have lives outside of work.
Can you imagine how that went?

We would get inbound from social media and phones at night, when the business owners we wanted to help were done with their business hours days and were winding down, reviewing their day, and planning the next.
We did manage to build a good system over 6 years and ~7k SMB customers, but it was still a challenge to keep up with the volume of inquiries and ensure timely responses. I wish we would have started using AI tools sooner! We would have saved so much time and captured more leads.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen a surge in interest around AI tools from the thousands of agencies @getextendly supports.
We're going deep into helping them deploy AI tools for their SMB clients. That is, our team will onboard new sub-accounts, set up AI tools, and train agency teams on how to use them effectively.
We've seen phenomenal results so far (see our posts about how many of the agencies that we support go on to win SaaSPreneur awards) and are excited to help bring the next wave of AI adoption on top of @gohighlevel's newest crop of AI features.
Being the nerd that i am I’m obviously excited for the tech we’re building to power the backend of all this. At the same time, the smb owner in me is gonna for sure keep the shiny object syndrome in check because what really matter is moving the needle for our customers
