Why is no one pointing out how funny it is that @grok was calling itself MechaHilter for awhile there while one of the big wigs from the actual Nazi Party, Wernher Von Braun wrote a fictional story where the leader of Mars was Called Elon. It all seems a bit on-the-nose!!

The weirdest part to me is when you get circumstantial evidence and people seem completely oblivious to it and even outright reject engaging with it saying there's no direct causal link or they don't understand how 5 factors COULD be related to one another. Like if someone owned stocks or businesses that directly benefit from there being large scale mining operations going on such as selling supplies that are necessary for mining to go well and be maximally profitable so you say "Hey this guy only supports policies that maximize the number of mines because he benefits from it." You get hit with "Okay but he doesn't own any mines? Why are you bringing this up?" Then you say "Yes but he also is seen with groups that are against miners being able to unionize and try to get better treatment and wages which would benefit his business peers or friends. He wants to exploit miners!" You just keep being hit with "You're grasping for straws. None of this is direct proof. This is all just speculation. I don't see how any of this is related??" Maybe this isn't related to IQ, but I've noticed that many times in life things that seem immediate and obvious to me seem to completely elude other people even when things are explained to them.

Great point. Many high IQ people assume everyone is like them. They’ve never tried reasoning with an 85 IQ person.

So here's a thought I've had that you might find interesting. If you get this huge biotech revolution, you could actually start altering the body of any living human to start expressing traits because technically our genes and biological forms just execute instructions, be that for skin color, height, brain structure. This is to say, when you think about it, we're all built from mostly the same types of proteins, minerals, and other foundational blocks. So in the future, maybe as little as 10 years, you could just start maximizing the best traits among all humans as well as designing new beneficial ones. So potentially you could just start raising the IQ of the world to above even the best places at the moment and that might just be one possibilities. (I think will also likely have aging-reversal by that time.)

People get too afraid of a lack of work when they should think of all the work that doesn't get done cause no one getting off the ass to do that. Imagine I said "hey, go work at an old folks home" or "hey, clean my house" Your pay? 2 dollars an hour. Think of how man your problems would be solved if it were that cheap.
