If you guys can pull this off, the NDC 2025-2029 would go into the history books of Ghana as heros. Years to come, generations will sing your praises just like we still sing of Kwame Nkrumah for projects still serving generations 69 years later and beyond. Best of luck!

Congratulations to the Ghana Armed Forces for the remarkable speed and efficiency with which they are clearing the way for the construction of the Accra–Kumasi Expressway!

Lol Ministry had Ghana Athletics' program since at least November 2025. Yet, money wasn't released to them. Athletics Championships start in 7 days, but as of last week, the Ministry had still not released funds. Bawa Fuseini messed this up, but the Ministry is just as guilty.

Nowadays,a lot of national concerns are shaped by perceived interests…When narratives come from corners of bias, whether real or assumed..they cloud judgment and shut down honest dialogue…Until we separate perspective from fact, genuine discussion will always struggle to breathe

If you had the chance to learn one thing about sports design that nobody really teaches openly, what would it be?

@KTurkson1 @garyalsmith The work of the Sport Ministry here is to make sure the payment is done. It is the work of GAA to do the organization. The GAA is to be questioned

The athletes are not kids. Either someone lied to them about who is responsible for their plight on this trip or the two authorities involved are playing with our minds.

@garyalsmith @SportyFM_ So basically, the grievances were channelled to the wrong quarters.

@KwakuDapaa1 They're forgetting that until about 2006, the Black Stars was in the same situation with players being asked to buy tickets for Black Stars related travels from their pockets. We've come too far to be talking about such things 20 years later.

Senior Sports Journalist ooh 😂😂😂😂😂 The Black Stars didn’t become this attractive overnight. Significant investment was made to make it what it is today. You remember the GNPC $5 million? And why are you using returns from the World Cup as the benchmark? How about the AfCON that we spend more than whatever money the Black Stars comes back with? Some of you are the reason why the local league has collapsed Senior drop the “racket” small
Raymond Nyamador@raymondnyamador

It is ONLY in Ghana that we think investment in sports must end up as sunk cost. We think sports business must run like a charity institution. The reason why there is no money for all other sport disciplines but the Black Stars. They remain our most profitable “sports investment”

@Listo_Mens So the ministry doesn't consider how effective their payments should be, they just pay?

@OfficialSitso Sitso, according to the GA president, all this brouhaha happened because of lack of funding. Who is responsible for funding the athletes' participation in international competitions?

No they don't have to. They have to address the specific issue the boys raised. They boys said they arrived late. The ministry says it's not their fault they arrived late. They just had to stick to the matter on board. No need to escalate it.
Victor@AtsuTamakloe

Ministry statement on the relay team's complains. Statement should've focused on what they've done for athlete support, prep for major events, & how much they've funded athletics since assuming office. You can't campaign on such only to hide behind bureaucracies when elected.

@Kwaku_telly @AK_BeautyofGod @rasheed_saminu So the ministry is just a stamp- they pay whatever is requested from them? No vetting or audit? That's even worse! We are in trouble if our sports ministry doesn't do any value for money analysis before paying monies to their agencies.

@domynych We are more interested in the politicking than the wellbeing of our citizens through the development of our communities. Unfortunately, the citizens are too myopic to see through the fanfooling.
