Congratulations to the Ghana Armed Forces for the remarkable speed and efficiency with which they are clearing the way for the construction of the Accra–Kumasi Expressway!

Nowadays,a lot of national concerns are shaped by perceived interests…When narratives come from corners of bias, whether real or assumed..they cloud judgment and shut down honest dialogue…Until we separate perspective from fact, genuine discussion will always struggle to breathe

@garyalsmith @SportyFM_ So basically, the grievances were channelled to the wrong quarters.

The construction of the Accra–Kumasi Expressway is steadily gaining momentum, as troops from the Ghana Armed Forces have officially commenced preparatory works on the project corridor. The personnel, drawn from GAF engineering units and operating from a base camp at Asuboa near Akim Oda, are currently undertaking extensive greenfield clearing within the designated stretch of the expressway. It is ONLY in Ghana that we think investment in sports must end up as sunk cost. We think sports business must run like a charity institution. The reason why there is no money for all other sport disciplines but the Black Stars. They remain our most profitable “sports investment”

Gadayi came to Accra by bus when we needed him to be part of the team so bad. I Kumasi to Accra not less than 1 hour by flight? He got down from the car to use a motor. ahhhhh Some stories write themselves.

🚨Why are they worrying themselves then?

GAA has been already whipped in line last night. This be just save face attempt

🚨GHANA paaaa di333 tweaaa😂😂😂 Associations are in charge of all these arrangements, the ministry does the payment. So how do any reasonable person blame the ministry for flight layovers? Or because an athlete said it so we can't reason about it?

Ministry statement on the relay team's complains. Statement should've focused on what they've done for athlete support, prep for major events, & how much they've funded athletics since assuming office. You can't campaign on such only to hide behind bureaucracies when elected.

Our athletes’ preparations have always been an issue. It’s a matter of funding - Bawah Fuseini, Ghana Athletics President #SportyBreakfast

If we have the financial muscle to camp our athletes for even one week before competitions, it’ll be very helpful - Bawah Fuseini, Ghana Athletics President #SportyBreakfast

The athletes were aware of the tickets booked for them and I didn’t see any complaints from them - Bawah Fuseini, Ghana Athletics President #SportyBreakfast
