@ARISEtv True talk. He has just done a great disservice to Southeast by consciouslly prolonging the region's quest for presidency. So sad.

Peter Obi Has Pushed Igbo’s 20 Years Backwards From Getting the Presidency – Maigari Peter Obi will not win the 2027 election; it is very obvious. The only people who follow Obi and Kwankwaso are those who think they will rise on their backs to get elected and then defect and leave them. Hon. Kasimu Maigari, Member, ADC National Legislators’ Forum

I have stepped down my support for Atiku Abubakar for personal reasons , I still believe he has enough hands to continue to preach his message to Nigerians. However, Let it be on record that i have NEVER collected , requested or asked for a dime or $1 from either AA or anyone close to him . Same energy is what President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would enjoy going forward. Organic love and Support . Signed: Hon. Chief Ogbuagu Anthony

@HRH_Ujuaku @atiku Thank you Obianujuaku for this perfect synopsis of Atiku's eventful journey in Nigerian politics. To the shallow thinkers, Atiku's long walk on our political terrain is tantamount to greed but for those of us with thinking caps, Waziri's indomitable spirit is worthy of emulation.

My dearest Waziri @atiku , Today marks exactly 33 years, 2 months, and 8 days since you first entered the presidential arena in the historic SDP primaries of March 1993. What an incredible milestone! From standing shoulder-to-shoulder with legends like MKO Abiola to your determined campaigns in 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023 — and now eyeing what you have described as your final push in 2027 . Your journey stands as a masterclass in resilience, vision, and unwavering love for Nigeria. Few leaders in our nation’s history have shown such consistent dedication. As a successful businessman, former Vice President, and champion of restructuring, economic reforms, youth empowerment, and true federalism, you have remained a towering figure in Nigerian politics. Your experience, strategic intellect, and ability to build bridges across divides make you one of the most prepared and battle-tested leaders of our time. Millions of Nigerians continue to admire your tenacity and see in you a man who truly believes in the Nigeria of our dreams. I wish you all the best in ADC and remember whether I'm at the forefront or cheering from the back, you have my best wishes and highest regards always - Ezenwanyi

This is FAKE NEWS. No defection. No secret talks. No shadowy meetings. No political theatrics. Just another clumsy, recycled falsehood—manufactured to distract Nigerians from the grinding realities of hardship, insecurity, and a floundering economy. But Nigerians are wiser now. You cannot bury the truth beneath a mountain of propaganda. @atiku remains fully committed to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its mission to rescue Nigeria from the grip of this failing administration. There will be no detours, no distractions, and no retreat—only a resolute march toward rebuilding a nation that works for all. Signed: Phrank Shaibu Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar. Vice President of Nigeria 1999-2007

REALITY CHECKS: "As the 2027 election approaches, it's good to give a highlight of the major conditions required for any candidate to be declared winner of the election according to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. (1) Candidates must get the majority of the votes from the entire country. (2) Candidate must get at least 25% from at least 24/36 states plus the FCT. In 2023 for example, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the election for securing 36.7% of the total votes and 25% from 29 states. Followed by Atiku Abubakar who secured 29.9% of the votes and got 25% from 21 states. And then Peter Obi who came third with 26.1% of the total votes and 25% from 15 states. What does that mean? Tinubu was declared winner not only because of the number of votes, but also because of the 25% rule, which he secured majority from Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, Niger, Kogi, Benue, Jigawa, Zamfara, Borno and Rivers. On the other hand, Atiku Abubakar won states like Osun, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa, Katsina, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba, Bayelsa and Akwa-Ibom bringing it to a total of 12 states. Similarly, Peter Obi won states like Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Imo, Delta, Cross-River, Edo, Lagos, FCT, Plateau and Nassarawa bringing it to a total of 12 states with none from North-West and North-East. Kwankwaso dominated Kano State with more than a million votes. Based on this highlights, who do you think will win the 2027 presidential election?

@HonShield Stop it!. It has gotten to the stage where the parties will carry their respective cross. If NDC defectors couldn't bed in and work for the unity of ADC when they were in-house, what informs this your misplaced advise? NDC is all out to destroy ADC but they'll fail.

Dear ADC, the Media will want to instigate you to speak against the NDC or PO, don’t do it. Stay away from castigating your fellow opposition party. Yes it hurts, but that’s politics. Nothing stops the ADC and NDC from coming together to present a single presidential candidate.

@WaveboiSixkid @DeleMomodu After the exit of Buhari, no northern politician is more popular than Atiku in Nigeria. His current cult folllowership surpasses what all the governors can offer. Atiku is cosmopolitan unlike your tribal and religous- bigoted lord.

@DeleMomodu And some also try to impress it on us that Obi's votes were massively supressed in 2023, assuming that was the case, didn't Atiku surfer the same fate? Was is only Obi that was affected by rigging in the last election? Is this a case of one-dimensional-thinking syndrome?

@DeleMomodu Some people say Atiku doesn't have presence in the South, yet he garnered over 1.8m votes in the last election with over 1m coming from southwest, the region of APC candidate despite the noise around zoning and internal sabotage from his party. You will all learn by force in 2027

@Maduabu44 @SamAmadi @PeterObi Listening to @SamAmadi speak, one can unconsciously take his oratory prowess for sound political judgement but deep down, his views revel in fables. It's even pathetic that these are some of Obi's advisers-in Chief. So, Sam didn't take cognisance of those biases all this while?

What people envy about you is how you understand them best. Praise can be faked but not envy; envy is honest. Who doesn’t want to be 79 years old - still sound in mind and body, leading with quiet dignity, surviving betrayals, withstanding attacks and ready to fight forward for Nigeria. Still standing. Still solid. They envy your quiet dignity they call it arrogance; You did them favours and never even told us; Their envy reveals what they secretly wish they can have the discipline to build, and what they quietly fear you might achieve long before they do. We welcome their envy - they may eventually be ok (or not) but they will never be AA.
