I failed for 2.5 years before seeing any success. This shit doesn’t happen overnight. Accept that it’s going to take work, effort and a lot of sacrifice. Master a skill. Pick a game. Stay in it for years. You have to bury the old you in order to become the version you're always envisioned yourself to be.

God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Feel like there’s no end? No solution? Good. That’s God bringing you closer to His presence. Retain faith, His blessing always prevails at the end.

Bottom line: younger buyers in Chicago are entering homeownership later, but it’s not just because prices are high. It’s because the way people live is changing. If you understand that shift, you understand where the Chicago market is heading next.

And here’s the kicker: if someone in their twenties or thirties is still living at home in the suburbs, they aren’t even counted as a household. That means the generational drop-off in homeownership is actually bigger than the headline data suggests.

NAR says the median first-time homebuyer in 2025 is now age 40. Last year it was 38. In 1992 it was 28. It sounds like affordability is the whole story… but it’s not. When you compare that to the New York Fed, the average first-time buyer in 2024 was 36.3. No big jump.

Being connected to God’s word is so powerful. Been reflecting on who I was one year ago a lot recently. Reactive. Anxious. Empty. Lustful. Comparing myself to others. Not simple, but once you get deep enough into Scripture, everything begins to change in such a beautiful way.
