@BukkyOA This is what my former team lead failed to do, he tells us to do things he’s not ready to do, or has very little idea about. It eventually cost him his job.

My team talked to me during the week about my work rate, and we all laughed about it. So, I was thinking about it just now. You have to be an extraordinary coach to your team. You cannot tell them to do stuff that you're not ready to roll up your sleeves to do yourself. You have to be a guide, a mentor and a live example of what grit and resilience looks like and they will naturally model you. But if you sit in comfort, you are not only not modelling the right behaviours to them, you are also letting them know that you do not believe in the future of what you're building, and it is okay for them not to either.
