This Nigerian man came to support Spain, but the moment he spotted Burna Boy after his halftime performance, all he could shout was, “Omo iya mi!” 😂🇳🇬 Naija recognize Naija 🤝❤️

@NEMESIS82093991 @oluwashina Was it wrong to budget for funds in anticipation of qualification? Whatbhappens if we qualify and no fund was budgeted? A former minister should know better!

“The Nigerian people deserve to know why ₦6.44 billion ($4.7 million) found its way into the 2026 budget for a #WorldCup qualification campaign that had already ended. That is a fair question, and it deserves a credible answer.” - ex Sports minister Solomon Dalung 😬🤯

Dricus Du Plessis says he felt Kamaru Usman's aura at the start of the fourth round. 🔥 "When I came out for the fourth round, that's usually when I see people start to break, even with Adesanya and Strickland, I can tell they don't want to give up—but subconsciously, they already have. I didn't see it once tonight. When the fourth and fifth rounds came, that's when I felt the Kamaru Usman aura." via: @ufc

One year ago, I was right here at the venue hosting today's #WorldCup final between #Spain and #Argentina. This time, I'll be watching from afar. 😄⚽ Make I use this one to hold body 😉

@SirJarus You too sabi super eagles. That was the Afro-Asian Cup. I left school (Lagos Island) to catch the match at the National Stadium. No transport money, no ticket... just youthful determination. 😄 Somehow, my friends and I got in. I think it finished 3-1. Great memories.

Today is children’s day, but 46 innocent children learning in their classrooms in Ogbomosho, Oyo state were kidnapped by gunmen. It’s been two painful weeks already and these children are still not home with their families, suffering out there in the cold and enduring fear and uncertainty that no child should ever know. This is a National crisis and the government must use every resource necessary to bring these children home. Nothing else matters in this moment. We owe our children a safer country.
