I går formiddag syklet jeg over Grønland, og det var en utrolig merkelig og ubehagelig opplevelse. Gatene var fulle av festkledde muslimer, som markerte avslutningen på Eid. Selv om de ikke gjorde noe galt, så opplevdes det svært fremmedgjørende å være en minoritet i min egen by. Å være en av de få norske blant 90 % muslimer. Fremmede klær, fremmede språk, fremmed oppførsel. Ingen jeg kunne identifisere meg med. Dette er ikke rasisme, fordi somaliere ville følt akkurat det samme i Mogadishu om det var 90 % hvite europeere der, og pakistanere ville følt det samme i Islamabad og så videre. Jeg hater ingen, men jeg vil ganske enkelt ha byen min og landet mitt tilbake. Like barn leker best, og homogene samfunn fungerer best. Det er en universell sannhet uavhengig av tid og sted.
