I first saw Charm’s facilities in 2021 so it’s awesome to see these credits go live. Charm is known as a leader in deliveries but they should also credit for being a first mover in working through what operationalising rigorous verification in their removal process looks like.

Carbon removal used to be verified by Stripe FaceTiming with the injection well operator 😂 now going forward it’s third party verified by a company @Isometric_HQ that gets paid whether they give us a ❌or a ✅. It’s a structural incentive shift that’s critical to fix the voluntary carbon markets.

1/Isometric issued 107.21 carbon dioxide removal credits from @CharmIndustrial to @jpmorgan, @Shopify and @stripe. These are the first verified credits for Charm and, like all Isometric credits, they have scientifically rigorous monitoring, reporting + verification at their core.

@jwilceclab’s work was some of the first I came across as I got into carbon removal and her passion for CDR was very influential on me and I’ve seen firsthand how @stacykauk has been one of the most catalytic people in the whole ecosystem, incredibly excited to now work with them

He made an apology after years of portraying LGBT-people a threat to Polish nation in the same studio. I was moved.. Apology an important part of reconciliation. This is Poland I want to fight for...
