Cracked dot com type of millennial analysis into media without that deep of a textual meaning for fun pop culture reasons. In this era actual media literacy was commodified for entertainment purposes.

Im an adult now and I wouldn’t make a statement like “all men need to be patriarchs” or something stupid like that and then explain that I meant something more nuanced when questioned

The introspection done by millennials was in no way hyper and just the beginning of general awareness of what had just began in academia.

Researching the validity what you consume online matters and is the onus is on the receiver to dissect.
