i called to cancel my health insurance because i couldn’t keep affording it. the rep asked why. i said paying $500 a month for a plan with a $6k deductible doesn’t even feel like insurance anymore. it just feels like paying monthly to still be financially ruined if something happens. she didn’t really have a response.

These comments are misinformed: good surgeons will hide your scars. If they're necessary, they'll be in places that are hard to see. Lipo holes also tend to heal very well, and one is usually hidden in your belly button. I'm never secretive about my scar, I really love them. I try to be transparent about my body and surgeries on here. Surgery is really great, but I'm not going to pretend there aren't trade offs. Quoted tweet is when I was in early healing. I'm still quite swollen even in my last image, but everything will come together a lot more by month 3.
