The future of transsexual healthcare is going to be three major surgeries. ✅ FFS, which we nearly all benefit from. ✅ Vaginoplasty, which is brutal ✅ And this new emerging branch of medicine BFS. Body feminization surgery - aimed at undoing what testosterone does to our skeleton. I feel honored to be one of the first trans women to undergo this emerging branch of gender affirming care. The results are already dramatic and I’m barely healed. I also think it’s important to be honest and say a lot of trans women are not going to be good candidates for this. Excessive weight is going to negatively impact your surgery. The number of general health tests I had to qualify for this was exponentially more than any surgery I’ve ever had. Smoking, drug use and other comorbidities are going to flat out disqualify a lot of trans women. Also, age is going to be a factor. Being in my 40s has undoubtedly made this a tougher recovery than someone in her 20s would experience. But my God. It changes your skeleton into a shape that men just simply don’t have, no matter how much we diet or exercise. For a long time, we’ve tried to get around the problem of a skeleton influenced by testosterone with breast implants, fat grafting and liposuction, which it can do a good job - but this is really just getting to the heart of the matter. We are so fortunate to be living in a time of medical miracles like this. I fully expect this procedure to become extremely mainstream in the next five years. A major barrier is going to be training surgeons and developing a protocol to identify good candidates. I cannot wait to fully heal and explain more about this surgery. And I’ve only had one out of the three.

I just can’t understand why more Democrats aren’t freaking out about the fact these DSA nut jobs and literal Islamists have taken over our party. Deputy Jayme Gohde stopped him, believing the folded mobility cane in his back pocket was a handgun. Hodges immediately showed her it was a cane. When he refused to provide identification and demanded the officers’ names and badge numbers, Sgt. Randy Harrison ordered him arrested for resisting without violence. Hodges spent time in jail before the charge was dropped. Sheriff Mark Hunter called the deputies’ conduct “unacceptable” and publicly apologized. Gohde received a two-day suspension without pay. Harrison was demoted, given a seven-day suspension without pay, and barred from raises or promotions for two years. Both were ordered to complete remedial civil-rights training. Hodges later filed a civil rights lawsuit that was settled out of court. A Navy veteran doing nothing wrong ended up in handcuffs over a white cane.
