@WallStreetSilv Rents are up because these crooked local politicians increased property taxes despite the shitty economy. It's ridiculous.

Evictions are jumping in the sunbelt and midwest, while they hide them in blue cities by forcing landlords to eat unpaid rent. One in three renters now pay half or more of their income in rent, and hundreds of thousands are falling behind. The White House’s only solution is hiring more lawyers to prevent evictions, which makes landlords stop renting to young families and blue-collars.

@Alphafox78 I started in computers with the IBM XT and it had a monster 20Mb hard drive Lol! Years later, I thought I was a bad ass when I got a 300Mb hard drive!

In 1956, I.B.M. sold its first disk drive; This drive was composed of fifty twenty-four inch-diameter double-sided aluminum magnetic disks. Although it weighed a ton, it could store just five megabytes of data. Contrast that to today’s thumb drives which can hold hundreds of gigabytes. We take it for granted now, but it wasn’t always the case!
