@thdxr @UpToNathan Nice. And 1 more benefit is that maybe it can run on Android termux. Currently bun cannot run on termux so any Bun API based thing cannot run.

we decided to make opencode work in nodejs because this gives us a few options - node is way more stable on windows and we have a lot of pain there currently - electron desktop app can easily embed it without spawning another process - we're not certain about the future of bun for a few different reasons - gives us the option of freely exploring deno - lets people embed opencode in their own applications more easily - we've benchmarked things and we're not really benefiting from bun's slight performance advantage

we have a tedious task of moving off of bun file apis we had opencode analyze all usage and come up with a plan for how things should be mapped and now it's running in a loop opening one PR per file - each of which can be reviewed and safely merged independently

I built Chrome-ACP, a Chrome extension that lets AI agents control your browser. Works with Claude Code and any ACP-compatible agent. Also, like #OpenClaw , it can be deployed to anywhere and just use phone to control your agent. github.com/AreO-Joe/chrom…

@devongovett It is more accurate now. Most of the code works, and human is still needed to review. All your reasons can be avoided if the method is right. I no longer write code but keep reviewing code generated by AI, and things work pretty good.

I don't understand takes like this. Every time I try AI, it generates code that doesn't work, makes up fake methods, uses outdated libraries, etc. It's certainly useful as a better google/stackoverflow, but nowhere even close to replacing humans.
Ryan Dahl@rough__sea

This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.

In Bun v1.3, React, Tailwind, and your favorite components are just one command away.

#A2A is good, but has anyone adopted it yet? There are a few A2A examples in the community, but I haven't found one with #HITL (Human-In-The-Loop) feature. So I just built one, posting it here for everyone to correct me if I'm wrong. github.com/Areo-Joe/a2a-it

Started hacking on an infinite word app! Every word generated is a hyperlink you can click on to generate another page, which takes ~2s & costs $0.001! Inspired by @dev_valladares's infinite wiki.

Announcing build-my-own, an MCP Server that helps to set up suitable folders and AI rules to turn Agents like Cursor @cursor_ai and claude code into the best tutors who instruct you to replicate any github project from 0 to 1. Any feedback is welcome! github.com/Areo-Joe/build…

Started to use Zed @zeddotdev today. Noticed it years ago, and today I found it smooth and acceptable for me. But I miss the HTML snippet from Vscode, and had to configure it myself in Zed. At last everything works fine! Post a gist that helped today. gist.github.com/Areo-Joe/1e0ab…

My PR to MCP TypeScript SDK got merged. But used company git account for commits, so I guess my personal GitHub still shows zero commit contributions. Kinda bittersweet.😅
