Minister sir, here is a tiktoker Abdul Aminu Gwaska, a native of Zamfara State, who acts as the head of a dangerous mining syndicate currently expanding its footprint across Ilesha. The documented evidence reveals that he coordinates multiple high intensity illegal mining sites by actively recruiting a massive influx of external laborers to carry out the physical excavation and processing of gold. To fuel this operation, his syndicate even utilizes a digital recruitment and sales infrastructure, providing a direct link for individuals to submit their personal information to join the illicit trade or purchase their illegal products. Furthermore, intelligence shows that Aminu is actively collaborating with local village heads and traditional chiefs, who welcome and house these illegal miners within the community. This high level collusion grants his syndicate a social shield, effectively protecting their activities from accountability while they systematically destroy farmlands and pollute vital water bodies. If this dangerous partnership between illegal miners and local leadership is allowed to persist, it will inevitably lead to a total security breach. You should take a look into his operation and also his sponsors and his collaborators.
Dele Alake@AlakeDele

Our joint task force, working with security agencies, shut down an illegal gold-mining operation at Ileki-Ijesa in Osun State. We arrested two suspects on-site, seized their equipment and sealed the area. The suspects are currently cooperating with investigators to help us track down the financiers backing these operations. I want to be clear that our focus isn't just on the casual workers on the ground. We are actively going after the sponsors and quiet backers of these illicit activities. Through the work of our Mining Marshals, we have already arrested over 300 illegal miners and prosecuted more than 150 of them, including foreign nationals. Illegal mining destroys local farmland, pollutes our waters and invites insecurity into peaceful communities. The government cannot police every stretch of land alone. If you live in these areas, I urge you to work with us. Do not shield these operators. We are committed to making sure Nigeria's mineral wealth actually benefits Nigerians and we will keep putting the pressure on until the sector is completely orderly and sanitised.

ETF vs Mutual Fund. Many investors use these words interchangeably. They are not the same thing. 🇳🇬📚 MUTUAL FUND A pool of money from many investors managed by a professional fund manager who decides where to invest based on the fund's objective. You buy units directly from the fund manager. Most are actively managed, meaning the manager is trying to beat the market. ETF (EXCHANGE TRADED FUND) Also a pool of money in a basket of investments. The difference is it is listed on the stock exchange and trades like a company's shares. You buy and sell through a stockbroker during trading hours. Price moves throughout the day as the market moves. Most ETFs simply track an index like the NGX 30 or S&P 500 without a manager trying to beat it. THE KEY DIFFERENCES Pricing: Mutual Fund once a day. ETF all day long. Management: Mutual funds are usually active. ETFs are usually passive. Liquidity: Mutual funds you redeem with the manager. ETFs you sell on the exchange instantly. Cost: ETFs are generally cheaper because they do not pay a manager to make decisions. WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE? Choose a mutual fund if you want professional management and a completely hands-off experience. Choose an ETF if you want lower costs, flexibility and the ability to trade like a stock. Think of it this way. A mutual fund is hiring someone to drive you to your destination. An ETF is following a map and driving itself. Neither is better for everyone. The right one depends on what you are trying to do. 🇳🇬 Not financial advice. Do your own research.

@Rise_Forge As a Soldier in a conflict zone I will choose the ammunition. Without the ammunition I may not survive to need any of the other three ,but with ammunition I will definitely get and use the other three by hook or crook.

Recently I helped a brother recover an account he had forgotten about. What we found still shocks me. He had bought Seplat Energy shares years ago at N2,000 through Chapel Hill Denham. When we finally logged back in, Seplat was trading at N11,363.90, up over 468% from what he paid. The moment he saw what it had turned into, he sold. 😂

MFM does its prayer points in English, so it doesn’t really carry the same weight as CAC. If you hear those Yoruba prayer points in CAC especially when the Woli starts with “O wa sọ fún Olórun”, you've already started praying before he even finishes announcing the prayer point. Then there's always one man beside you already stamping his feet on the ground 😂 You will not pray keh?

I heard that the Edo State Government says anyone who reports cultists can receive ₦3 million, while information leading to kidnappers attracts ₦5 million. My only concern is this: I hope people won't start making false reports or even try to report themselves just because of the reward money. Informant reward schemes can help fight crime, but they also need proper verification to prevent abuse. Ire oo.

You see that girl who said it was President Tinubu who kidnapped those children and teachers in Oyo State and those Chibok girls? She didn’t just wake up to do that video. She’s following a clear pattern of online provocation and incitement lead by people like Moris Monye. It’s a coordinated and heavily funded propaganda. They want to bait the government and its supporters so they can be the victim of the entire situation and blame the government for ethnic profiling. Their messiah is already going around saying the government is telling people not to associate with him or not invite him to occasions anymore. I hope the government and its supporters do not fall for it. Focus should continue to be on our gallant men who rescued the innocent children and teachers; they deserve all the praises and national honours we want bestow on them. That’s the only motivation they need to go after other criminals holding innocent Nigerians to ransom.

Confirmation of those involved in the operation which includes ONSA Special Operation activity, DSS STATT, Nigerian Navy SBS, Nigerian Airforce SF, Nigerian Police IGP Intelligence Squad and the Nigerian Army Special Forces. The State Security apparatus was not part of the final push. The most important thing is that the Commanding officer gave a clear instruction of the Standard rules of engagement which alot of people here have used it as a conspiracy theory as an agenda. On X a lot of people were asking about those arrested, the video released also showed arrest were made by the Joint Security Forces and no ransom was paid as stated by the Govt. Above all Nigeria Security Forces succeeded, and for those who still call it an act, they should get kidnapped first and when the security forces rescue them, they will then confirm if it was an act or not

NEVER AGAIN ON OUR ANCESTRAL SOIL: A Cry for Justice, a Tribute to Courage, and the Reclaiming of Yoruba Farmlands With a heavy heart but an unyielding spirit, we stand today to honor the memory of a son of the soil—our brother, a dedicated teacher, who was brutally snatched from us in Orire. To see an innocent soul, a builder of future generations, subjected to such horrific violence on his own ancestral land is a profound tragedy that cuts to the very depths of our collective soul. We weep for him, we pray for his family, and we declare with one voice: Never again. Never again should any indigenous person be terrorized, violated, or murdered on the land of their ancestors. While we mourn, we also find a glimmer of hope in the rescue of the students and teachers who were held captive. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to the security personnel and local vigilantes who stood in the gap to ensure their safe return. Specifically, we extend our sincere appreciation to the President of Nigeria. We thank him for his courage, his resolve, and his commitment to confronting terrorism across the country, particularly within Yoruba land. His administration's efforts have shown that the state will not fold its arms while criminal elements attempt to overrun our communities. To our resilient farmers across Yoruba land, we send this clear and reassuring message: Ewu o si ni oko ile Yoruba, awon olupani ati awon to n fipa gba nkan ti o se tiwon lo gbe n kan ti o jo ewu wo le. (There is no inherent danger in the farmlands of Yoruba land; it is the killers and aggressors who have brought this shadow of terror onto our soil.) Let it be known to all who wish us harm: those who bring violence, destruction, and terror to our forests and farmlands will have no hiding place. They shall be flushed out completely. Our farmers must, and will, return to their lands in peace, safety, and dignity. This incident must serve as an ultimate signal—terrorism, banditry, and lawlessness will never be accepted or tolerated in Yoruba land. Not now, not ever. Finally, we urge all indigenous people across the length and breadth of Nigeria to prepare themselves for the transition to state policing. To secure our future, each region must be empowered to defend itself. Localized security, managed by those who know the terrain, the culture, and the people, is the most viable path forward until we fully resolve the constitutional crises that have left our communities vulnerable. Let us stand vigilant, united, and ready to protect our homes, our heritage, and our lives. Signed: Baba Awori

LET'S SPEAK THE TRUTH AGAIN The rescue of 44 captives in Oyo State was not a miracle. It was the result of community cooperation. Residents refused to shield the abductors, provided intelligence, and trusted the military. That made the operation possible. Northerners are now demanding the same success in their regions and they deserve it. But here is the hard truth: In many parts of the North, military operations have been stalled not by lack of capacity, but by individuals protecting the k!dn@pp£rs for personal gain. Informants leak intelligence. Local leaders shield cr!m!nals. Communities turn a blind eye. You cannot demand a successful rescue when you are feeding the k!dn@pp£rs' networks. The Oyo rescue happened because the community refused to cooperate with the abductors. The military had actionable intelligence, local support, and a clear target. That is the formula. If Northern communities want the same outcome, they must give the same cooperation. ♦️ STOP PROTECTING KIDNAPPERS. ♦️ PROVIDE CREDIBLE INTELLIGENCE. ♦️ REFUSE TO HARBOUR CRIMINALS. ♦️ TRUST THE SECURITY FORCES. The President has given a directive to rescue every captive. But the military cannot rescue people it cannot find. And it cannot find them without community support. The ball is now in the court of our Northern leaders and communities. COOPERATE. OR CONTINUE TO WATCH YOUR CHILDREN REMAIN IN CAPTIVITY. The choice is yours.
PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)@Pressman2040

🇳🇬NORTHERNERS DEMAND REPLICATION OF OYO RESCUE ACROSS NIGERIA The successful rescue of 44 Oyo victims has sparked fresh pressure on President Tinubu to replicate the operation for hundreds of other schoolchildren and women still held captive across the country. In Borno State, 78 students remain in captivity following separate attacks on schools in Askira/Uba LGA on May 16 and June 29. In Kwara State, 176 women and children abducted from Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama LGA remain in captivity nearly six months after the attack. The Presidential spokesman assured: "The President has given a directive to the security and intelligence agencies to rescue every Nigerian who is in captivity, whether in the North-East, North-West, South-East or South-West".

One thing I have always admired about the Yoruba culture is their deep sense of gratitude. Just look at how the people in the community where the abducted Oyo school children and teachers were rescued came out to thank and appreciate the military personnel as they drove away after the successful operation. In some other regions, such an operation might have been met with insults and accusations that the federal government is using the military to invade their community. That culture of acknowledging and appreciating those who make sacrifices deserves recognition. The Yoruba people place a high value on gratitude, and it is a quality worth emulating.
