@_iamkrimzy @SoprialaMembere I think you should go and look at the case in the high court, He is saying he is the deputy that should become acting after the resignation of the chairman and secretary. It is him that should hand over to the new chairman. Only for them to present his own resignation letter.

@OkunwaUUA @SoprialaMembere Yes, but the coalition are presenting a resignation signed 6 weeks before. Completely sidelining him. That’s what his fight is about. If they left him as deputy all these wahala wouldn’t have happened.

@Datchallyguy @SoprialaMembere Yes na, they are disputing him as deputy, That is the case in court …. They said he resigned and he said he didn’t. That he is meant to be the one as acting chairman to hand over to the new team. Due process wasn’t followed.

@lecomtephyn @SoprialaMembere I think he was fine with the coalition coming him as long as he was part of the NWC, until they presented a resignation letter that he said was fake and removed him from the NWC . Thats what the tussle is about.

@_iamkrimzy @SoprialaMembere That’s not the bone of contention, he said he didn’t resign, and a fake letter was presented on his behalf. He claims to be deputy National chairman in the post and part of the NWC. Inec has decided not to recognize ANYBODY till they sort out their selves in the courts.

@olu4double00 @SoprialaMembere INEC recognizes only National Chairman and the party leader on their portal, so from this screenshot that you shared, I’ll ask you, who did Nafiu describe as the National Chairman?

@Folorunso07 @osazenoo Hence why there is a reduction, imagine if it was still encumbered, going by the trend of former governments. (At least 120%) calculate what the debt would have been now.

@osazenoo Tinubu's govt is not burdened with subsidy payments, so your comparison is not a like for like comparison. A government that is not encumbered should be way better than its predecessors in debt management and infrastructure development.

External debt is taken and paid in dollars. Not Naira. The is Nigeria's external debt in dollars: **Obasanjo (1999-07):** Start → $2.79B (92); End → $3.5B (126%) **Yar'Adua (07-10):** Start $3.5B; End → $4.6B (150% increase) **Jonathan (10-15):** Start $4.6B; End → $10.9B (193% increase) **Buhari (15-23):** Start $10.9B; End → $51.5B (646% increase) **Tinubu (23-Sep'25):** Start $51.5B; End → $46.3B (-1.5% decrease) Fact-check me

@dmightyangel People forget that both parties wrote to Inec in the last one week, and they basically told them to sort themselves out before they fill in their NWC.

@AramideCastro Actually no, however there are much more expensive properties in Cape Town than lagos, like this one attached. Converted to naira that over 12 billion naira, about 10 million dollars. So like I said location is what makes a property expensive.

@AramideCastro That’s not the argument, just as you can’t say Manhattan is better than Dallas. (Rats, crime and all). It’s just demand and supply. Bigger city…. More demand simple

This “No Certification, No Entry” policy for imported vehicles (including tokunbo) is another frustrating and poorly timed decision that will punish ordinary Nigerians. While the intention to reduce road accidents and stop substandard cars sounds good on paper, the reality is painful. Many Nigerians rely on affordable used cars because new ones or locally assembled vehicles are far too expensive for the average person.

FG Introduces “No Certification, No Entry” Policy For Imported Vehicles (Tokunbo) As Vehicle Conformity Rules Take Effect The Federal Government has introduced a strict “No Certification, No Entry” policy for imported vehicles, including both new and used (“tokunbo”) cars, as part of efforts to improve road safety and curb the influx of substandard vehicles. Under the Standard Organisation of Nigeria National Automotive Design and Development Council Vehicle Conformity Assessment Programme (VehCAP), all vehicles must obtain pre-shipment certification before being approved for importation, customs clearance, and entry into the Nigerian market. Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, John Enoh, confirmed that the policy is now fully in effect and not a trial phase. He explained that any vehicle that fails to meet certification requirements will be denied entry, seized, or sanctioned. The policy will be enforced by relevant agencies including the Nigeria Customs Service, Central Bank of Nigeria, and the Federal Road Safety Corps. The Government, led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says the initiative is aimed at reducing road accidents linked to unsafe vehicles and improving standards within the automotive sector. Officials acknowledge concerns about affordability but maintain that the policy seeks to balance safety with access to imported vehicles. While concerns remain about the impact on used vehicles (“tokunbo”), officials say the goal is to strike a balance between affordability and safety.

Bernie has addressed this many times, including in one of my all-time favorite Bernie moments during a 2017 CNN debate with Ted Cruz. WATCH: Bernie takes on a Denmark-born economist from the conservative Peterson Institute. The economist starts by attacking Bernie's approach. See what happens next...
Wall Street Apes@WallStreetApes

Senator Rand Paul researched and found that everything Bernie Sanders and AOC have been saying about their views for socialism have been an outright lie This is very important information “Democratic socialists like Bernie Sanders often point to Scandinavia is the model for what the U.S should become — When (Bernie Sanders and AOC) talk about democratic socialism, (Bernie Sanders says) ‘I'm not looking at Venezuela, I'm not looking at Cuba. I'm looking at countries like Denmark and Sweden’” But that’s just not true Rand Paul “We learned that actually Bernie is too much of a socialist for Scandinavia, that he probably could not get elected in any of the Scandinavian countries — When he started talking about Denmark being socialist, the prime minister of Denmark came out publicly and said, Bernie, quit it. You're, you're bad for business. We are not socialist. And if the rest of the world thinks Denmark's socialist, they won't come here and invest money. Denmark is far from socialist planned economy.” Not only is Denmark not socialist, but the other countries Democrats point to as examples are very wrongly depicted “We found that basically it's not true that the Scandinavian countries are socialist. Basically they have private property, private stock exchange when different freedom or economic indexes are listed. They're in the top 10 of the most free countries. Now, they do have a big welfare state, but we also learned that what Bernie promises and what AOC promises in our country is untrue. They say, we're gonna have a lot of free stuff that a socialist state gives you, but only the rich people are gonna pay for it. Only the top 1%. Turns out when you look at Scandinavia, everybody pays for it. - Particularly starting at the working class, paying a 25% sales tax - Then an income tax of 60% starting at 60,000 - And really the rich in our country pay a lot more. — The rich pay a lot more in our country than they actually do in Scandinavia. So his whole stick it to the rich, you know, thing that he's promoting isn't true in Scandinavia. He says, in our country, the corporate income taxes, the evil corporations aren't paying enough. Well, guess what? In Scandinavia, there have been 15 points below our corporate rates for 2 decades” Meaning, it’s the working class who would ultimately pay insane taxes for Democrat’s plan for socialism “It's sad that people still think Scandinavian countries are socialists.“
