🩸Blood is supposed to be thicker than water, but today Africa feels divided😭 The resentment toward South Africa🇿🇦 is forced, punishing and hating a sister nation just for demanding accountability over illegal migration issues😔 How can we preach Ubuntu but cheer for Mexico 🇲🇽 while our own neighbor stands alone? If they offended us, let love and forgiveness win. Will Mexicans support us like this? Tonight, let’s use this game to mend broken pieces, choose peace, apologize to South Africa and heal the continent. Mama Africa is behind you, South Africa. Bring the world Cup home. 🕊️✨🇿🇦 #FIFAWorldCup #WorldCup2026

I’ve been in Jos for like 5 days now and I have a lot to say. Firstly, I never knew a people could be this nice and kind and respectful. I almost felt sick because I never knew people could still be like that. Lagos has fried my brain. People call you Sir while offering every service to you. From the suya guy to the super market attendant to the local restaurant to every single person. I’ve never seen this before in my life. In Lagos, the way I know the food in a restaurant would be good is if the woman is rude. I never trust the food of a polite food seller in Lagos. But I’m here where everyone treats you with respect. Then things are cheaper. The uber that will normally cost 10 million naira here in Lagos is 2,500 here. I’ve never seen life lived like this before. I see clear road everywhere. I’m not scared of holding my phone carelessly. Hotel is cheap with free WiFi. Omo. Jos na place.

Wait! So the same bandit terrorizing innocent people and sending families to early graves is suddenly afraid of death? 😳😱 A suspected bandit was reportedly captured and pinned down by Nigerian soldiers after years of allegedly unleashing terror on defenseless communities 😤🔥 But the shocking part? The same man who allegedly showed no mercy to innocent victims was seen crying, trembling, and begging for forgiveness the moment his own life was on the line 🤧💔 Life no hard when they are attacking harmless villagers, but reality hits differently when consequences finally arrive ⚠️🔥 Well done our gallants 🙌🙌

So this was the lady I dated before my current wife. Beautiful girl, short with big boobs and smart as hell. The sex was also amazing. I really thought she was the one. Then one day we went and we took public transport back home because my car was bad. So a man in the bus said something to her, I couldn't remember what but she blew up instantly and start insulting and cursing this man. You know when someone offends you but your reaction goes way overboard you're now literally the villain. This babe kept abusing and hissing at the man. Kept raining such creative curses that I didn't know if I was impressed or annoyed. It got so bad everyone in the bus kept quiet and was just observing her drama. I even chipped in that it was enough but she wasn't having it. She even said it loudly that am I trying to command her. I was so embarrassed. That was when I knew she wasn't the one. I know if I marry this one, I go die young.

I once heard about this guy, let’s call him Tìgboro Nimí, who got caught in exam malpractice in one of the top universities in Nigeria, the proper one that can drag you before a panel and get you rusticated if evidence shows up. He was in 400 level which was final year for him, and they have four different papers back-to-back on that day. The hall was jam-packed, no breathing space. So Tìgboro Nimí did what he had to do, folded a small cheat sheet with key points, proper SportyBet sure banker style.

One of the stupidest thing I see online is these interprofessional rivalry I see online. As a doctor, I'm barely making $300 a month, few of my consultants are pushing 1k. A popular medical doctor just paid by X in two weeks what I don't earn in 2 months. But guess what? We are kings compared to what our allied healthcare workers earn, especially in the private sectors. Many nurses still earn below 100k, pharmacist below 200k and let's not even talk about med labs and radiographers. The pay of healthcare workers in this country is a meme at this point. But guess what again? Instead of coming together and fighting our slave masters, we'd rather banter ourselves into oblivion. I hope we get it right soon.

Yeah, you're right Dr. I've worked in a hospital in this country, we normally go ward rounds with the Dr. They just handle the cases, and the turn to us, pharmacist what do you think? And then, discussion around pharmacology and therapeutics will kickstart, at the end of the day.... Both groups go back home happily and fulfilled, I doubt if there's any group that feel threatened tho.... And they also use EMR, so you can see patients info and test, it makes it easier .

I’ve asked the pharmacist in our team to join morning handover meetings, listening to case presentations, management plans, and asking questions where clarification is needed. It creates a shared understanding upfront, reduces back-and-forth over prescriptions, and strengthens patient safety through collaboration. This is something hospital management boards should consider integrating into routine handovers. When teams learn together, care improves.

There are specialist Pharmacists who are trained under residency programs in various fields. Emergency Med, Infectious Disease, Oncology, Pediatrics etc. The goal is to ensure patient safety so if there could be concerns, the Pharmacist can reach out to specialist in good faith.

@NendiL62388 @YourBabysDoctor A consultant with 100 years experience will still have his/her prescription evaluated by a pharmacist Likewise a pharmacist with 100 years experience will still get a prescription order from a Doctor

On this Pharmacist-Doctor issue. It isn't hard! If you have a query about the doctor's prescription, put a call across. Doctor, I am concerned about the dose of prednisolone prescribed for this 6 year old. The doctor responds "Yes, I am managing for nephrotic syndrome. The patient will benefit from high dose steroid." No rudeness. No condescending speech. Patient is fine We focus on other things on twitter.

I think what People that are non-Pharmacists fail to realize is that as regards to drugs(in terms of things that relates to a pharmacist) the gap in knowledge between you and a Pharmacist is so unfathomably wide....

As pharmacists, it’s crucial to maintain professionalism when raising concerns about a prescription. No one is above mistakes especially with the current patient-to-doctor ratio. Doctors can be exhausted, and even pharmacists can misinterpret things if the rationale isn’t clear. That’s why good communication skills matter. Ultimately, our goal is to improve patient outcomes, not to antagonize one another.
