Criminal appeals are cost-intensive. Most Convicts do not appeal not because of the time it takes to hear the appeals but because of the cost.
Where a Lawyer decides to take up appeals, file the Notices, compile, and transmit the records, he should not only be praised, but he should be admired.

Thank you so much. Oh no, it doesn’t. We currently have many other cases pending in different courts that we handle. In fact, I shuttle often between Ilorin, Oyo, Iseyin and Lagos for some of these cases. Aside the above, as at today, we also have about 7 criminal appeals at the Court of Appeal Ilorin awaiting hearing date and all of them have been sentenced to either death or life imprisonment. It is our hope that we get hearing dates soon for these cases. Anyone who handles appeals, especially criminal appeals knows what it cost to do 1 not to talk of 7 and not one of these people was charged a single kobo for legal fees, and expenses.

Seeing the exchange between @egi_nupe and @Wizarab10 and I was so speechless. I have been working at Kirikiri for Two months now and my advice is that whatever you do in this life, don't end up here. They're boys that will pledge everlasting loyalty to you if you're the reason they end up getting out of here... Maximum OR Medium. His behavior is not okay and we should not encourage it at all.. Shout-out to @egi_nupe for getting him out and helping with others... hopefully this doesn't shut the door to future representation of deserving inmates who might never be able to say thank you.

I took time to read through some of your responses, I hope you are sensible enough to realize that even if you want to sit on the fence over an issue, that is not how to talk about someone who did nothing but good to you. Your thought process of "if he didn't do it, someone else will" is not automatic. You might have done jail without anyone showing up.

I've been released since last year February A sum of 900k was used to resolve the case (800k negotiated with the complainer and 100k for legal fees) An additional sum of 600k was transferred to my wife to aid her makeup business That's a total of 1.5M Hope that clears the air

Signs of toxic workplaces
1. Promote titles and not salaries
2. Working while sick is a sign of loyalty.
3. Disagreeing with the boss isn't tolerated
4. Leaving at 7.30PM is a sign of dedication
5. Working during lunch is seen as devotion
6. Replying to emails at 11 pm is a sign of commitment
7. Manager has more impact on your mental health than your doctor.
8. Would rather lose a good employee than fix their toxic management team.
9. Hire qualified candidates and then micromanage them into miserable employees.
10. Managers are loud when you make a fault but quiet when you do something good.
