The part that broke me the most was where he had to lie to them that he was not a Christian, but a Pegan. John must have thought that he’ll be freed if he says that. Then when the torture got out of hand, he shouted JESUS.
And these monsters said, “Oh! I thought you said you don’t know the name Jesus! I thought you said you don’t know the name! They insulted him and make mockery of his own JESUS”. They made him to denounce his own JESUS.💔💔💔💔🤧
Tonight, my heart is unbearably heavy…
I watched a man cry out in pain, helpless, beaten, and treated as though his life meant nothing and it broke something deep within me. Lord, how did we get here? How did we become a people who watch suffering and feel so powerless?
In his cries, I heard the echo of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who in His agony still looked up to You and said, “Father…”because even in pain, He knew You were there. So today, with tears in my eyes and fear in my heart, I call on You the same way… Father, please do not forsake us.
This land is hurting. The fear is real. The silence is loud. And for those of us who have nothing, no protection, no voice… it feels like we are left at the mercy of darkness. Lord, please arise. Let Your justice speak. Let Your mercy move. Let Your presence be felt again in this nation.
Please save that man, John… wherever he is right now, step into his pain. Hold him in ways no human can. Send help he cannot see. Fight for him when he is too weak to fight for himself. Remind him that he is not alone, even in that moment of terror.
Lord, I have no money, no influence, nothing physical to offer… but I refuse to be silent. So I give You this cry, this pain, this prayer. Please turn our tears into testimony. Turn this darkness into light. And remind us that You are still God, even here… even now.
Because at this point, Lord… You are all we have oh Jesus 😭😭😭😭😭🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

@holarid @damola_mills @bubuigbo @Otagbuegede @TobiOdukoyaFilm @LagoonHospitals 😂 Glorified Search Engine? 😂 Okay bud.
English

@damola_mills @bubuigbo @Otagbuegede @TobiOdukoyaFilm @LagoonHospitals Keep dreaming. A glorified search engine is not gonna optimize your treatment as you think.
You should volunteer as health assistant in any hospital close to you for 2 weeks. Come back and tell me if you still hold same sentiment.

I went to this hospital at Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja Lagos
I wanted to see the gynecologist.
I paid for registration, 23,766
Paid for consultation, 119,000
Paid for tests close to 350k (it was about three hundred and forty something)
Minus my T.fare o
Now after close to a month, my results are ready. Oya o, tell me what the tests says. NO, I HAVE TO PAY 64,000 FIRST before the gynecologist can interpret what my tests says.
I almost lost it with them! They said it's the policy.
And frankly i don't have 64k to pay for tests interpretation. I told them to send the results to my mail.
I'm so heartbroken and disappointed.

Say no more.
Nigerian babies are fed sugar-packed Cerelac while European babies get the same brand with zero added sugar.
The same culprit? Nestlé.
Ultimately, NAFDAC is to be held responsible. Their mandate is to protect the health of Nigerians and they are failing at it.

Fẹrànmi@pherado
If you want to live a life free of constant hospital visits & crushing hospital bills, avoid any product by Nestlé. Their entire company has always been built of profit before people. Do your research on their controversies in Africa, if you doubt me

Most Nigerians think they are drinking milk. They are drinking Fat-Filled Milk Powder (FFMP).
In the EU, FFMP can’t be sold as milk, it must be labelled as a milk ingredient, not a dairy product.
Here, it’s “milk”. Nigerians are eating what others aren’t allowed to call food.

wolfsbane@honey_yeka
@wearegst Just try to filter powder milk and see the amount of sugar granules in them

They said quantum computers go kill Bitcoin.
A Nigerian just made sure 🫵🏽your wallets and my wallets survives it. 🇳🇬
Meet Olaoluwa "Roasbeef" Osuntokun CTO of Lightning Labs. He dropped a working prototype that solves one of Bitcoin's scariest quantum problems.
The fear: if quantum computers ever crack Bitcoin's encryption, the emergency fix could lock millions of users out of their own wallets permanently.
His fix: a zk-STARK proof that lets you prove you own your wallet without revealing your private key. No key exposure. No lockout. Just math.
Runs in under a minute on a regular MacBook.
Verifies in 2 seconds.
This isn't a theory. No be them say them say o No be Roadmap or we plan to do it 🤣
It works today.
9ja devs dey build at the protocol level.
No noise, just code. ⚡🇳🇬
RT the world needs to know who's really securing Bitcoin's future. 🔁

Yes, you saw them jumping into your building through your fence at 2am midnight and thank GOD, you have a Licensed Gvn to defend yourself.
What does the law says?
Atanda's Reply
Self defence is not a licence to kpai someone
If you see them before they see you, use your licence kala to disarm them only
Pls, don't kpai them
Shuut their hands or legs or any part that will only disarm them and not kpai them.
Once you do that, you can now call the Police to pick them up.
You can only kpai them when they kpai someone in your building, that is the moment the force will be proportional
If you kpai them when they did not kpai anyone, you will eat FR££ stony beans
You may not be happy with the principle of proportional force in self defense but,
The law is not emotional
During Gvn licence training, they only teach you how to shuut the hands and legs to disarm.
That's the reason for the Gvn, not to kpai the thr£@t before you

Please, I humbly ask for your help to repost this so it can reach a wider audience 🙏💔
Another day, another cry for help. We are still struggling to clear my mum’s debt from the ransom we had to pay to secure her safety. Right now, we still have an outstanding balance of ₦4.5 million, and the pressure from the lenders is becoming unbearable every single day.
My mum is no longer herself. The emotional and financial stress is taking a serious toll on her, and it’s breaking me to watch her go through this. We have tried everything we can, but we cannot do this alone anymore.
Please, I’m begging for your support—any amount you can give will go a long way. And if you’re unable to donate, kindly help me repost this. You might be the reason help finds us.

The perfect combo:
Optimizing your cloud bills.
Frontend - @vercel
Backend - @render (use the @github route, the ease of git push straight to deployment is beautiful)
Redis - @upstash
Postgress - @supabase or use render's direct postgress.
Use a single source of truth for Redis and postgress connection, (so less connections are attempted at redis and postgres, trust me, this will save you unnecessary costs and optimize your system for scale)
Route it all through a custom orchestrator, run all your modules through this, bind the orchestrator under a tiered Admin(global, finance, moderator, jnr admin, customer support)- trust me, this will save you in the long run, keeps your system structured, easier to run. add compulsory MFA service for admin accounts, and if building a financial system add MFA roadblocks against huge admin transactions ) include security and systems monitoring under your orchestrator, Log Everything! Seriously 😂.
Then add Persistence in Auth path, and orchestrator services like alerts, health, metrics.
I'm currently building something with this setup, so you you should be able to see this setup in action soon. Keep building 💯
P.S: You can build almost anything on this setup, apps, websites, games, AI systems can run on this too etc...

The most terrifying realization a man has as he gets older is that his grace is entirely conditional. If a woman has a career setback, makes a bad financial move, or needs a year to "find herself," she is met with sisterhood, therapy, and endless emotional support. If a man asks for that exact same grace? He is an immediate liability. He is told to step up. His partner's friends will literally advise her to leave him because he's "holding her back." A man is only allowed to fail if he can quietly fix it before anyone notices. The moment his struggle becomes an inconvenience to the people he provides for, the respect vanishes. A lot of men are walking around with the crushing realization that they were never actually loved for who they are; they were just employed for what they provide
k@alfkkifine
what opinion about men do you have that makes people feel like this???

China just built a 1GW floating solar farm off Shandong. enough to power 2.67 million people. Nigeria gets an average of 7 hours of sunlight daily. Imagine something like this off a portion of the Lagos coastline. Capable of supplying stable electricity for over 10M people. We need to start thinking big.

There’s something we don’t really talk about enough.
Nigeria is connected to some of the most powerful undersea cables ever built:
MainOne, WACS, ACE, Glo-1.
Billions of dollars of infrastructure sitting right off our coastline.
Yet most of my mutuals and I are still buying 1GB for ₦1,000, and it’s finishing in 2 hours.
Something is just so deeply wrong, and most people don’t even know where to point the finger.
