after trying a bunch of sandboxes every single day for the past months and retesting it every few days, a under the radar one has been the best for me. @upstash box ... maybe skill issue but its the only one that has been super easy to setup and just works out of the box !

Many enterprises asked about Context7. Few deployed it. Privacy and safety were the two blockers — here's what we shipped. upstash.com/blog/context7-…

Most systems fail not under load, but under weird load. Bursts. Hanging endpoints. Slow failures. Here’s how we made QStash + Workflow survive those 👇

This time focused on the agent flow. 5 AI reviewers + 3 scanners in parallel @upstash Box sandboxes → stable JSON + typed exit codes. Your agent reads verdict.blockers, patches, reruns until exit 0. Stateless, no git mutations. ilterkavlak.github.io/projects/nitpi…

Box Update! Introducing keep alive and instance types: - Keep Alive: Normally a box only runs while handling a request. With keep-alive on, your process runs continuously — loop indefinitely, self-schedule, behave like a web server. Required for autonomous agents (e.g. OpenCrawl) that need to drive their own workflow. Fixed monthly cost. - Instance Types: We added Medium (4CPU, 8GB RAM) and Large (8CPU, 16GB RAM) instance types. So you can start using box for more CPU/Memory heavy workloads such as building Next.js apps. Box is more than a sandbox. It is EC2 for agents.

Doing @vercel a favor — drafting a roadmap for Vercel Workflow. Here are things QStash (and Workflow) has that you’ll need in production: - flow control - DLQ - failure callbacks - message-level deduplication - event fan-out - ordered delivery

The hardest thing about agents and backends is durability. @workflowsdk fixes this. That LLM you're calling *will* go down. That service *will* rate limit you. That database *will* unexpectedly slow down. You *will* get paged 💀 I've been looking for a unicorn for a decade. I wanted the level of reliability of combining stuff like SQS / Kafka / microservices, and I absolutely did not want *that* at the same time 😂 Truly reliable systems like that are notoriously difficult to reason about, to develop locally, to test, to simulate, to deploy… Workflow SDK solves that without compromises. We're doing what Next.js did for the frontend, but for one of the most important problems of the new generation of backend applications. Notably, Workflow SDK has an incredible self-hosting and multi-cloud story from day 0. We've taken amazing lessons from Next.js and poured them into the many Worlds (adapters) you can deploy to. Congrats to Pranay and the Workflow team on a generational ship: vercel.com/blog/a-new-pro…

We open sourced Ahi — a new way to run agents. Give your agents skills and tools. Give them a data folder for memory. Run them in isolated containers. Each agent runs independently — its own memory, tools, lifecycle. You don't need: - orchestration layers - deployments & infra - routes, handlers, background jobs Let them run.

Upstash Box is EC2 for agents. Durable state. Secrets never in the container. Claude Code + Codex built in. Pause, resume, fork — pay only for active CPU. Everything else your sandbox can't do ↓
